As you know by now, I love taking a walk on the beach,collecting small-or big
pieces of wood, that lived for a while in the water. So soft,and beautifull in color.
I also love using it in my artwork, like in this little collage.
The image is a photo from an old engraving my daughter and son in law owns.
Showing a scene from a Shakespeare play.

It is on the way to her, -I so hope she likes it all. :)

That driftwood collage is amazing my dear friend. I have all of the driftwood you sent to me in a glass bowl on my art table. I love looking at them. I can't bring myself to use them as they are to precious. It takes me awhile to work up the nerve to use things I really love.Your friend is going to be very excited to receive such a beautiful gift. Oh Dorthe - you make me miss our beach house so badly- I want to be ther walking the beach - picking up driftwood -one of my favorite things to do there. How lucky that you are that it so close for you to do! We are a 12 hour drive from our home on the beach!
