THE SUN GIVE US AND NATURE HOPE FOR THE SPRING TO ARRIVE !!

                                                       SIMPLY NEUTRALS #20

Dear Wen shares her no 20 Simply Neutrals,
Thank you sweetie, you are so kind, to also show my medaillons ,I
created for dear Liz.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week I show a card again,...seems I`m fond of
creating cards, this year, lol. And as always nature ,pops up as
my favorite choice. I loved the stamp with Queen Anne`s Lace ,and
had to have it, and also the geese stamp, from That`s Crafty.
My dear friend Lynne  https://lynnesbowsandbelles.wordpress.com/ ,
had newly  send me a wonderful gift
of Walnut crystals , to make ink, and I tried it first time
on this background, and love the soft brown tones it creates.
The Queen Anne Lace, was first stamped with white ink, and then
highlighted with a Sharpie. The little signs, with favorite words, are made from
cork and I also placed two wood cuts , and stenciled using a Dinky stencil, and paste.
We were happy to have our daughter and grand kids, for some days in Easter,
and we spend some hours in Snogebæk, to walk the beach, and see this, very unusual
view of the rocks on which the island rests.
Normally this is totally decked by the sea, and no one of us had
seen this before
Isen`t it spectacular ?
How was your Easter, dear friends?
I hope you spend some lovely hours, and that the sun was shining a bit onto you.
Sending you all,
hugs and love
MY JANE AUSTEN DOLL !!
I have a very dear friend, whom lately celebrated her birthday, and knowing
she is very fond of all things Jane Austen, I desided to create ,for her,
a Jane -doll-
I found a face from the period,- in my collection of purchased digital sheets,- which
is often used to illustrate the figures in Jane Austen`s stories.
It was transferred to fabric, and then made to a 3-d head.
Her body was drawn freehand, sewn and dressed in ,something
likely to have been worn, back in late 1700- first 1800.
You can`t se it but she is wearing lovely under wear,
and the bonnet was a must from that time. I had to have a
little bling ,too :-)
I gave her a little collection, of Jane-quotes in her hand , from the same
digital sheet, as her face.
I love to read them, and smile !!!
DEAREST FRIENDS, WITH THIS, OLD LOVELY, TEACUP,
FILLED WITH A REAL BIRDS NEST AND SOME EGGS,
I WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY EASTER.
We miss the sun here, but hopefully it will soon be back,
to brighten the days of spring.
Thank you for visiting and for commenting, it means
so very much to me.
Hugs and love, Dorthe
NEUTRALS FROM MY HAND AND HOME
Dear Wendy sweetly offers us to join her
SIMPLY NEUTRALS  #19
Thank you Wen , I love being in your lovely  party.
This week I created a card again, this time using the method of
crumpling up the paper, before adding inks, to give a fantastic
texture, which you can see if clicking the photos.
The beautiful swirl, is paperclay, made from That`s Crafty,
My heart I bought for Christmas, a wooden gift tag,
it is painted several times, and I used both crackle medium, and
crackle glace I love how it came out.
The white heart is also paper clay in a new mould I found here in DK.
This tile also made from paper clay, and with the  crackle glace on top.
A flower made from different diecut flowers,and a tiny
one bought.
And as Easter is near, I want to show a few other creations.
This is made several years ago,  First burning the box in my stove,
and then decorating, and finishing with wax.
Beautiful eggs, from my dear Julia from http://vintagewithlaces.blogspot.dk/
They have been gifted me many years ago, but are still among my favorite Easter decorations,
Thank you , Julia.
Thank you for now,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL VISITS AND COMMENTS
they always makes me smile, and feel happy.
Have a lovely week dear friends.
Hugs and love
SIMPLY NEUTRALS # 18
Yes, the wonderful time of dear Wendy`s  beautiful neutral party , again.
This time I show a few photos, of a snippet roll I created for my very dear friend Suzy,
for her birthday gift.
I used this wonderful images , transferred to fabric, and layered
with old beautiful laces, and buttons.
I also transferred the sweet calender pages, with lovely
quotes of friendship. It is rolled together over an old pin used
to make lace with.
Everything in neutral tones, and with a key, rose, and
heart on the outside , tied with seam binding !!
Sorry the photos are not real good !!
Old trees mirroring in the lake ,on a misty day , you can`t see it,
but it was covered with ice, in some areas !!!
I`m happily adding this the Wendy`s
Hoping you will visit all the wonderful bloggers participating over there !!
First days of spring, haven`t been very spring like here, but cold
and rainy ....I hope for a sunny weekend for both you and me .
Hugs and love
