HAPPY AUTUMN FROM DENMARK

Autumn yes , but also started to create my Christmas cards
this one in blue and brown colors , a mix I love.

And here a beautiful spot, we visited last week
and in all autumns glory !!

Last a little collection of pumpkins ,
two real ones, inside my home, and two in
concrete making it cozy outside .

Almost October gone , and only two months till Christmas ,
time is flying so fast , here we have days with lovely weather,
but also rainy grey ones , I guess it is like it has to be .

Wishing you all a lovely weekend
Hugs and love
Dorthe

As always another lovely card created and ready for the season ahead. The beauty of autumn has been captured here in your lovely photo to enjoy ... tis my favorite time of year ... as I am drawn to these rustic colors. Our autumn here in Northern Canada was short lived when a hurricane force winds came up and within one day blew all the leaves from the trees leaving them looking so naked and sad.
Oh well that is natures way. Today we woke up to a blizzard of snow ... and so the winter begins. Concrete pumpkins would be the way to go here, lol ... love the idea. Have a lovely day, Dorthe
Hugs from afar.

Blue and brown seems appropriate no matter the season or occasion~ The textures and details are stunning for a Christmas cheer~ I love to see your pics of outdoors and the gorgeous woods and water. I can imagine my own self walking there! : ) Pretty pumpkins too! for a month that has gone by too fast~ Loving hugs to you, karen o

Your card in shades of blue and brown is gorgeous - such beautiful ephemera and I love the pretty blue fabric, so perfect for it. It's an absolute work of art. I love your autumn photos too - the leaves are a beautiful colour and the pumpkins are amazing - I love the idea of having concrete ones outside.
Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs, Diana xx

What a beautiful autumn scene, Dorthe. And the card is so lovely. Was that a blue ladies' handkerchief that you used on it? A good idea since we don't really use cloth "hankies" nowadays. I think concrete pumpkins are such a good idea--you could use them for years and years! No rotting and no replacing!

Yes, the holidays are fast approaching aren't they? The weather has gotten pretty brisk here in Michigan in the U.S. (lower penninsula). There is still quite a bit of color on the trees but not for long. Hope you enjoy more Christmas card making and will let us see what you come up with. Your artwork is so inspiring.

Take care, until next time.

Oh how lovely to see a post from you... I wasn't really expecting one before November, so this is a bonus! I love your blue and brown card (well, of course I do) - a wonderful vintage image at the heart of it, and those lovely gleaming touches of gold are great. The pumpkin collection is also mainly blue and brown, it seems, which also makes me happy! What fantastic gnarly shapes and textures... and beautiful autumn leaves by the woodland stream. Definitely a happy-making post, thank you.

Dearest Dorthe so sorry that I missed this post, lucky for me whilst playing catch up I thought I would check to see if you had shared anything and there it is, what a treat!! Where did October go? I feel like I skipped another month. The combination of blues and browns is a favourite colour theme with your chosen face so serene and deep in thought. Your flower reminds me of Autumn leaves looking almost as if it is constructed of them how clever would that be. The musical score background and words of peace bring this tag to us with a message of harmony. Beautiful in design as always. I feel blessed to have caught this hidden treasure today.
How lovely your Autumnal decorations are, I feel I need something special like yours to bring joy into my home. Maybe an idea for the future?
Hoping this message finds you well? It's a lazy Sunday here, I may treat myself to a little creative time. Sending warm HUgs your way dear friend Tracey xx

Trying to catch up Dorthe as blogging seems to have gone out of the window lately due to having to keep up on Facebook and Instagram!
A really beautiful Christmas card and love the vintage feel from the blue and brown. Gorgeous autumnal photos too.
