Hello friends , already reached the middle of November
and Christmas is fast approaching .
All the same I had joy, playing for myself today , creating two pages in
the wonderful khadi paper concertina book, my dear friend Lynne , gifted
me earlier this year ,
Difficult to see the golden touches here , but they are there,
the leaf is a diecut , and the stamped ones, from a fairly new Tim Holz
stamp set. I love the bird sitting on the branch, which is a Paper Artsy
stamp set from where the text comes, too.
Here a bit of the second page , using embossing text folder ,tulle
and eco dyed paper . The beautiful WISH piece, was put on a paper bag
with lovelies inside, also from my dear Lynne.
And here below you see two pieces of tree bark, I have saved from a
tour in the wood , it has a lovely soft blue tone .
I wish you a lovely rest of the week, and have fun with Christmas
preparations , whenever you start them . I have most cards finished :-)
Sending you
hugs and love
Dorthe

Hello, it seems I rarely visit blogs, one of my favorite things to do though. This cought me eye from my reading list on my blog...haven't used it in a long time. Just some wonderful photos you have shared. Such beautiful creative layouts. Magical elements too.. I am leaving up my fall basics until after Thanksgiving, a few puupkins and special turkeys. Fall seems so wonderous these past years. Christmas will be much smaller sons live so far away and who knows who will be where. Enjoy each day Dorthe. Thanks for sharing
This is stunning Dorthe!! Truly gorgeous pages~ I love the soft, earthy organic look and feel!
Birds are always a favorite for me; as is your unique (Dorthe) touches on every page. Beautifully done gold touches and the text embossing folder! (Why can't I remember to try that? : ) Your work is a treasure~ Hugs to you, karen o
Love. Love. Love it all. Dorthe, you certainly have a way with craft supplies. Everything you touch turns out magical. Just beautiful.
Happy mid-November to you!

Dorthe this truly is beautiful, how nice to have had some time for yourself to create in a this wonderful concertina gift from Lynne. She will be delighted that you have created inside it. I too love the little bird but an so drawn to those golden leaves.
I'm Thankful for a free day to have been able to browse and catch this piece on blogger, it sure has made my day.
Time is very precious and not much left for me over the past 3 weeks, I keep adding more and more to my email to you as so many things have changed over the month. I will be sending it you later this evening so you will get to read what has been keeping me..
Sending you the warmest of hugs, we shall chat soon my friend Tracey xx
Dorthe this is so beautiful, I love the organic feel to your pages, and your finishing touches are exquisite! Have a very happy weekend, Sue xx
Dorthe i love this so very much. Such a beautiful book, the pages are a delight to look at, truly gorgeous in the natural tones.

So beautiful, Dorthe - the natural elements, the rugged Khadi paper, the delicate stamped leaves and script - it all works so perfectly. I loved seeing Sara's bird there - it's one of the most atmospheric stamps, I think. The little touches of gold bring light and warmth and all the textures are so fascinating - this must feel really good to hold as well as to look at. Well done on getting your cards almost done!

This is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful!!!!
My dear Dorthe, how did I miss this beautifully magical work. I have struggled to get to my blog in the frenzy of Christmas but am now taking time to catch up, and I'm so glad I did. This is gorgeous - such a lovely combination of the bird, text and leaves - I love it - and even a sweet little insect in the netting - just perfect.
Hugs, Diana xx
