NEUTRALS FROM MY HAND AND HOME

Dear Wendy sweetly offers us to join her
SIMPLY NEUTRALS  #19
Thank you Wen , I love being in your lovely  party.

This week I created a card again, this time using the method of
crumpling up the paper, before adding inks, to give a fantastic
texture, which you can see if clicking the photos.

The beautiful swirl, is paperclay, made from That`s Crafty,

My heart I bought for Christmas, a wooden gift tag,
it is painted several times, and I used both crackle medium, and
crackle glace I love how it came out.
The white heart is also paper clay in a new mould I found here in DK.

This tile also made from paper clay, and with the  crackle glace on top.

A flower made from different diecut flowers, and a tiny
one bought.

And as Easter is near, I want to show a few other creations.
This is made several years ago,  First burning the box in my stove,
and then decorating, and finishing with wax.

Beautiful eggs, from my dear Julia from http://vintagewithlaces.blogspot.dk/
They have been gifted me many years ago, but are still among my favorite Easter decorations,
Thank you , Julia.

Thank you for now,

THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL VISITS AND COMMENTS
they always makes me smile, and feel happy.

Have a lovely week dear friends.

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Hello dear, I'm always in awe of your talent sweetie, you use so many interesting mixed media techniques! And the results are so gorgeous, wow. I love the heart how it came out and your angle box is so beautifully decorated. The Easter eggs by Julia are gorgeous too, such a sweet gift to treasure for many Easters. Big hugs xx

Dear Dorthe you are such a source of inspiration! your card is truly a vintage dream~ I like your tips about crumpling the paper; it does give such lovely texture! And I think my favorite is the flower you created with die cut fabrics & lace! Dorthe it is beautiful! And the mix of darks and lights (with all the texture)in your composition makes this card such a beauty! I am not familiar with 'paperclay' and I am curious to find out~ The hearts are rustic and add a pretty warmth. I like the gorgeous little box; with so many vintage elements! It's delightful and earthy~ Your gifted eggs are beautiful too! And I can see why they are set out every year~
Bless you friend, Karen O

Dorthe Dear you have made me think of my beloved Grandma and the lengths she went to for the sake of crafting. I can just picture you burning a box in your stove and them embellishing it to make it a beautiful work of HeArt. Grandma would do that too and Grandpa would have thought she had lost her mind. :o). I adore your Simply Neutrals card and box and gifted eggs. Embracing Creative Bliss...

Beautiful display of neutrals Dorthe. The pretty crackle glazed hearts remind me of time spent crafting with my mother. And that lovely flower makes my heart swoon. Enjoy a lovely week.

The card and box are both fabulous creations, dear Dorthe. The crackle finish of the heart turned out fantastic. It looks like it's been around for a while. I'm glad that you still like the eggs. :) If I would make some now, they would look quite different.
Have a wonderful rest of the week, sweet friend!

The card with the paperclay elements, so beautiful and in your favourite neutral colours, there is such gentleness to this card.
I love that you burned the box on your stove! The patina is beautiful and with the cherub to adorn, gorgeous and then we have the sweet easter eggs. Your home is filled with such wonderous creations!
