CHRISTMAS CREATION AND A WALK IN THE WOOD

Yes I`m still taking small breaks from the doll sewing- making small cosy christmas pieces.
Lately I have seen so many cute houses everywhere-and wanted to make my own.
I had a tiny wood birds house, and the wooden old spool is from my dear friend Robin.I used embossed metal paper (from my Bog Shot ) Diamond glace glitter and a sweet dove-it`s app.16 cm high.

Yesterday my husbond dragged me out of the sewing room- to take me on a tour to a wood, running along side the sea. Here we parked our car.

See how close we were -isen`t it beautiful?

So gorgeous colors- the water is on the right.

Me in front of the sea.

And this very beautiful old yellowed tree.

Tonight is Halloween - and I wish all my American friends a wonderful "scary" and funny Halloweens Eve.
And ofcourse everyone else whom celebrates tonight-
Tomorrow is first november-and another month dissapered just in a blink-I know most of us will not have more time to relax and enjoy the -NOW- in this coming months -but lets give it a try :)
LOVE AND HUGS
Dorthe

Oh Beautiful Dorthe! Lovely pictures and I just adore your creation. It's getting cold here in Texas, but only at night. I am ready for Autumn days! xo

Dear Dorthe,

What a very sweet house you have made love all the gold and glitter.
Also I enjoyed seeing where you went on your walk with your husband.
Sometimes I do think we need to drag ourselves away and go out and enjoy the outdoors. It is so pretty with the Autumn leaves and the water.
Happy November and yes, didn't October go so quickly!

Hugs
Carolyn

I love your path through the woods with glimpses of the sea. Your husband was a smart man to drag you off for a walk, and you look quite happy to be there. Enjoy this season Dorthe because winter's snows will soon be upon us!
The house you made is wonderful - and makes a special decoration anytime of year but especially now, as we come closer to Christmas!

I'm so glad that your husband took you out to enjoy this beautiful, but too short season.
And I'm glad that you listened to your muse and created this beautiful house!

Its great to see you out and about and enjoying nature instead of being cooped up indoors. Having said that, when you are indoors, you create the sweetest things, the birdhouse is gorgeous!

My Dear Friend Dorthe. Now is the time when the clock begins to speed and the minutes fly by faster and faster. The days melt into night snd so so on, speed mad, and hurtling towards Christmas day. It is both magical and maddening. Your walk in the Woods...I had to chuckle. I have made small Christmas ornaments called Walk in the Woods bags filled with pinecones and dried flowers to hang on the tree. It is stuinningly beautiful there. Love your photo. Love you. R
