ETSY MERMAIDS- AND A GORGEUS GIVEAWAY FROM COMON GROUND

I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME I PUT SOMETHING ON MY ETSY.
So I made 2 small mermaids, a white/grey one and a soft blue/turquise one

They will be added there today.

I think they are cute

swimming in from "my"  Baltic sea

This is from my walk last week-end and what you see are roots under the asphalt-coming from the poplar`s  you see in my collage here. Can you immagine ---the little new plant,- have the power to break through the asphalt, and join the world-- so amazing.

And last, my dear friend Debra from Common Ground- is having a beautiful giveaway-
For you that maybe don`t know her --Click the name ,and go read about it on Debra`s very beautiful blog.
It is a fantastic place full of inspiration ,and beautiful photoes, of everything lovely.

This is what Debra gives away,--look at that gorgeus box, her beautiful necklace-- (I LOVE HER NECKLACES) and the journal.

I want to welcome new followers, I`m so thankfull for everyone following and visiting me here-

Wonderful mermaids! They are sure to swim away to a new home. Asphalt that is strong enough to build a road with and that little seedling manages to break through.

Dearest Dorthe
Those little mermaids have just arrived from your backyard to join you for a short time in Spring. How delightful and sweet they are and the colours so remeniscent of the sea.Gorgeous pieces of art - you are just so clever! And I love so very much your photos especially with that little plant breaking ground - Oh the power of nature - never to be underestimated!

Dear Dorthe,

Such sweet and pretty mermaids you have made.
Isn't that amazing the little poplar could make its way up through the asphalt. I know how strong the roots are of some plants, the wisteria has ruined some trellising in my garden.

Happy week
Hugs
Carolyn

Your mermaids are beautiful, Dorthe.

You are so right - the power of that root to break through asphalt is amazing. I'm always impressed by plants that come up through cement or in a narrow crack between rocks!

Hello sweet Dorothe,
Your mermaids are just wonderful. I just got your email and decided to come to your blog to see what you have been up to. You are so creative!
Thank you for asking about the storms. We made it through the torrent of tornados by Gods grace. We will need to get a new roof as we lost shingles. The neighborhood I live in had a very, very, close call, a few houses had giant trees fall on them, but nobody was hurt. Most were at work. We were without electricty for 6 days, and we managed fine with a propane camp stove.
I know I have not posted on my blog in a while, and I wonder if I am loosing interest in haveing it. I really do enjoy Flickr more. Life is so busy and it takes so much time, and gives me pressure to post. I will figure it all out one day. Lately, I spend spare time in the garden, working on the house projects, some crafts, taking care of husband. Life is good. I am so glad you wrote, and wish you a magical day.
Love
Marcie

Julia

Dorthe,
Those mermaids make me smile! They have such personality. i am amazed at the poplar trees. I don't know why we don't see that too much here but I love it. I live the idea that wonderful nature is much more powerful than dumb old concrete! Of course the trees are stronger...so why aren't they making their way through my pavement? Nothing that exciting here ;-)
Big hugs,
Suz
