INCHIE number 6 --- and mini angels with driftwood wings

This weeks inchie  was to be done over the word   : Electrifying
I think that `s what sometimes is felt in situations like this!

The two last dayes, I have walked on the beach, looking for driftwood-
small pieces, to be used for angels, and their wings..
Isen`t it a wonderfull bunch of small,-and mine pieces-laying here to dry, next to my oven.

The smalest ones, I used for those mine spring angels ,for their wings-they are not more than 8 cm. high.
and cute little pieces ,for turists to take home, with a piece from Bornholm atatshed.

It was a beautifull sunny day, not much wind-and perfect for the walk on the beach.

I wonder how many of you, are able to take a walk, just now- guess many of you are still covered in snow.
I hope you can soon be out, enjoying a bit of sun on your faces, like I did today.
Many loving hugs-
XO Dorthe

Taking a walk in the sun sounds like a wonderful thing to do...soon I hope! The sun is trying to peek out from behind the heavy clouds!

Sounds like a wonderful day! Here is still 2 feet of snow, and still coming down, more in the forecast. I did see a bit of the sun, though. Your angels are so cute, Dorthe!

Hello Dorthe
Such a lovely inchie - I'm amazed at how much you can fit onto that tiny space!
I drooled over the gift of exquisite lace you gave to Rhonda.
I have seen your name popping up on Lilla's blog too, so I thought it was time to visit you!
I would also love to do Nancy's 'Smitten Class', but my daughter and family are coming from France next week for a month and I see the class ends in mid February - I wish it went on for longer - C'est la vie!
I love your collage and you were such an adorable little 2 year old Dorthe. The baby's bonnet so sweet too!
Please do come and visit me and I'll get out my prettiest tea cups and make you very welcome!
hugs

Those angels are so cute, Dorthe!! We had sun the last couple of days and it's been wonderful! Not warm yet, but still great! Tomorrow, it's raining again, but at least we don't have all that snow that some people get to enjoy! Hope you are doing great!! Love, Silke

Oh Dorthe, I love these sweet little angels you made. I can walk on the beach too. It is sunny and around 55 today. Supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. I will have camera in hand and be out and about.

Beautiful inchie! I love the idea of using small pieces of driftwood for the angel wings. Years ago I made some small angels and used a bundle of twigs for the wings. Your angels are lovely!

WoW, yes, electrification is definitely what can happen!
I love drift wood, too. I have a few pieces that I collected while out walking.
I am looking forward to seeing the angels when you make them.
Have fun

Love your inchie! and your drying wood is beautiful just as it is drying by the oven. I'm glad you were able to have the sun on your face, it was a little chilly and windy here and the sun was out now and then! Hugs

How fun to picture you walking along the beach collecting driftwood for use in your fabulous creations. Here in Northern California it is not snowing but very cold.
Your little angels are precious. Happy February Hearts to you...

A walk on the beach sounds lovely. We have snow.snow.snow here and very cold temperatures 9 degrees. Brrrr. We are anticipating temperatures in the 40s on the weekend and I will definitely be outside taking a stroll. I love the little driftwood wings drying by the stove. Hugs - Julie

Oh yes, Dorthe, that first kiss, truly electrifying!
Your little angels are so adorable! Amazing what you create with a little piece of driftwood and some fabric.

I am still hoarding the driftwood you sent me, I like touching it, it is so smooth. I do have plans for a couple of the pieces though.

Definitely an electrifying inchie! I love your angels and think the driftwood angels are delightful. It will be a while before I can take any walks - lots of snow and ice outside and today the temperature is 9 degrees F.

Dorthe, you're right! That IS an electrifying situation! ;-)

What a great find of driftwood! Wow!
And to have the nicer weather for walking on the beach. It's sunny here and we got out yesterday to a cute little cafe' for coffee and pastry, but it's much too cold for walking.

Adorable little angels for tourists to buy and take home with them. I'm blessed to have one of your driftwood angels hanging in my studio. :-)

Hugs and love,
Diane

Hi Sweetie!
I love the inchie! I love the theme especially. Wonderful work as usual Dorthe. I love to hear that your walking on the beach, wish I was collecting treasures in the sand with you. I'm freezing my A*&& off tho! One good thing about the weather is that my erosion bundles are getting really torn up already! Lisa

Dorthe,

I cannot imagine being able to walk on the beach anytime I wanted to, how blessed you are! I did not let a little snow stop me, I took a walk anyway, cold toes, cold nose, cold fingers, but soaring spirit at being outside enjoying nature.

I love your inchie and the pretty tiny angels too! Have a great weekend!

Dorothe, your inchie is wonderful! So detailed! And your little driftwood angels are darling. I walked on the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon last week. The weather was beautiful and mostly warm. The grandsons even went swimming! I gathered many small pieces of driftwood and thought of you!
I also got to stop and see Barbara Jean. Such a wonderful visit. I posted pictures of her and her store.
Take care, xo, Karen

I also like you rlittle pile of driftwood. The angels are so sweet and the driiftwood is the perfect thing to finish them off - what a lovely idea.
No enjoying the outside here, unless you like winter! It is snowy and icy and cold - Spring is still far away!

Dear Dorthe,
I can't imagine making inchies with my big knobby fingers, but they are sweet! I also love your tiny driftwood Spring Angels. I wish I could find driftwood regularly, but the ocean isn't near. I'm glad you got out to walk in the sun. I am looking forward to an end of this snow so I can get out and begin walking again too. Take care dear friend!
