I HAVE BEEN INSPERED

NOT LONG AGO,   LINDA FROM A RANDOM CREATIVETY BLOG (Linda whom won my OWOH giveaway)-showed a tutorial about embossing a thin sheet of cobber foil.

I knew I ´had the foil--meant to use when soldering--
but how to emboss???  I had to try my Big Shot- and did... and look at this-
I forgot to take a picture before altering it with  black (for soldered items), so this is how it looks after doing that.---------
and this foil, I tryed to put in my woodburning stove- you see how it is effected ,too, but in a different way-altered. I like both , and think, they will look great used in collages of both fabric and paper.

Just a little  experiment ,that I think came very well out.
I hope you all are enjoying your sunday,
and wishes you a good and cosy evening.

Much love and hugs, Dorthe

I just love that copper foil work - it looks fantastic! Oh to own one of those Big Shot thingys. What else can it do besides embossing??? I love that effect.
I have made my Hydrangeas much bigger on my blog and they look so much nicer now! Do you have a flower garden

Dorthe, it's totally cool!!! Marie from Lost Bird Studio did some embossing on metal recently too. I almost bought some in the craft store last week but didn't like the price tag! LOL!. Next time I have a coupon. Can you cut it with regular scissors?

I have been doing shipping this morning and started a painting that is 'way far out from my usual art! I have been listening to flamenco music and the artwork is looking very Spanish! :-)

I hope you're having a nice day.

Hugs, dear friend,
Diane

Hi Dorthe, I have been away, but not aware of this issue with the photos, thanks for letting me know.

That is wonderful, Dorthe. What a great juxtaposition of hard and delicate. I am just entering thr world of "machines." I now have a Cricut Expression and a Spellbinder. I would love one that does texturing and a binder...but probably won't get them now! Have to stop spending money!!!
Hugs to you!
