I love Lovey`s artpieces, and am sure the book is very beautifull,-and gorgeus ,--- filled with photoes of her wonderfull art.

GOLDEN COLLAGE

I HAD TO TRY USING A PIECE OF MY NEWLY EMBOSSED COBBER FOIL,

AND CREATED THIS COLLAGE TODAY

I LET IT REPRESENT A FLOWER-!!!

THE WHOLE PIECE IS SEWN WITH COBBER THREAD

WELL IT IS NOT ALL FINISHED, BUT I JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU :)

I HAVE BEEN INSPERED

NOT LONG AGO,   LINDA FROM A RANDOM CREATIVETY BLOG (Linda whom won my OWOH giveaway)-showed a tutorial about embossing a thin sheet of cobber foil.

I knew I ´had the foil--meant to use when soldering--

but how to emboss???  I had to try my Big Shot- and did... and look at this-

I forgot to take a picture before altering it with  black (for soldered items), so this is how it looks after doing that.---------

and this foil, I tryed to put in my woodburning stove- you see how it is effected ,too,but in a different way-altered. I like both , and think, they will look great used in collages of both fabric and paper.

Just a little  experiment ,that I think came very well out.

ANGEL from the sea- or SEA GODDES

Do you remember all the beautifull driftwood I collected this week-?

well here is some of it-turned into a beautifull angel!

I love to use tattered and worn ols pieces of lace-cheesecloth,tulle, and

everything else, to dress my angels in.

I used a PW image for the face.

My first attemp making a coffe filter flower!

I made the paper wet, colored with a brown ink pad-let it dry-

and then used my T.Holz die cut in the Big Shot maschine.

Doe` s any of you, have ideas on how to stabilize the paper a bit more, so it could keep the form -when touched???????

INCHIE number 6 --- and mini angels with driftwood wings

This weeks inchie  was to be done over the word   : Electrifying

I think that `s what sometimes is felt in situations like this!

The two last dayes, I have walked on the beach, looking for driftwood-

small pieces, to be used for angels, and their wings..

Isen`t it a wonderfull bunch of small,-and mine pieces-laying here to dry, next to my oven.

The smalest ones, I used for those mine spring angels ,for their wings-they are not more than 8 cm. high.

and cute little pieces ,for turists to take home, with a piece from Bornholm atatshed.

It was a beautifull sunny day, not much wind-and perfect for the walk on the beach.

I wonder how many of you, are able to take a walk, just now- guess many of you are still covered in snow.

I hope you can soon be out, enjoying a bit of sun on your faces, like I did today.

Newest piece from Nancy`s SMITTEN CLASS

Here is last weeks collage from Nancy`s  Sugar Lump Studios  SMITTEN CLASS.

I choosed a photo of me, from I was about 2 years old-

I think I looks real cute.

It is made on an old book cover, with lots of old laces-the little old doll shoes ,I found in a flea market.

And the beautifull bonnet I got last year, from my dear friend Lisa -Tarnished and Tattered

Isen`t it a beautifull piece?

Also the lovely Resin piece was a handmade gift from Lisa.

The  beautifull handmade button rosette and the lace heart

my dear Julia  from  Vintage with Laces gave me

--- and the very small cotton flovers , dear Sissie from  Sissie`s Shabby Cottage

also dearly giftet me with.

Wearing  a cross in the photo, I could not resist ecchoing it ,by placing

the old Belgian  cross on the lace, under Lisa`s Resin piece - that could have been one of my grandmothers....

This ofcourse  is to keep for myself, and thats why I added all those wonderfull gifts from dear ,and warm heartet friends.-Thank you all 3 of you.
