INCHIE-------WEDNESDAY!

Hi all dears,-- little late, but this word ,was a difficult challenge

I never even heard it before, and googled it---

-Maudlin- something about being over sentimental .

So I came up with this :being a little bit over sentimental, "living" in the past-

I don`t know if it was totally wrong connected to the word,--

But I like my inchie ,hihi.

I will be with my daughter for some dayes, looking after my grandchild, that -poor little one-

have got ear-pain-and high fever...I`m going allone, my husbond looking after the shop!--and will be home again saturday.

REMEMBER THERE IS STILL SOME DAYES TO MY GIVEAWAY ENDS ON THE 31-1-

EMBOSSING FEBER -AND BOTTLE FROM "SMITTEN" CLASS

                     REMEMBER MY GIVEAWAY  of (20/01)

YES  YOU GUESSED RIGHT!!!!  I HAVE GOT AN EMBOSSING-AND DIE CUTTING :   BIG SHOT   MASCHINE.
                                                                                    AND  I LOVE IT :)

Here is some of my first attempts,--the tag is punsched out,and after embossed.

I have used images from a beautifull sheet I bought from :

Gail --://shabbycottagestudio.blogspot.com/

Gail has a wonderfull mixture of digi sheets-take a look on her blog-and shop.

Also I added old lace and a bit of pearls.

The next set is made on little bought pink tags!

After embossing them, I added  1 meter beautifull ribbons on each, and a lovely paper rose

Again I used Gails, wonderfull images.

The last one I made on a big uncolored tag-

also embossed a piece of parchment paper, and added the image on top.

I carefully went over the embossed areas with a pink stamp color

I love it !

And last ,here is the bottle made in  Nancy`s " Smitten" class

If you haven`t looked yet, you should go over there. Nancy makes the most beautifull art pieces of all kind you could wish for, and the class, gives us possibilities of working with both fabric-paper-glass and much more.

As you see I have been in a pink mood, the last dayes!

I also embossed the tag hanging in a wonderfull seam binding bow-used glitter around the image, and on top on the "hat" -it is very romantic.

Warmcoloured Collage With Another Piece Of Tyvek

I had to try using Tyvek once again .

This is made using an old book cover, on which I  layered and added,

many different fabric types-papers, laces,AND a piece of Tyvek

This time I painted it black-and turned the other side front up-

I think it looks great, and almost feels a bit leathery.

The Tyvek I am using are envelopes, this material can not be torn, and is water resistent,so very good for sending special things-as they can`t be damaged.

The image is printet from my printer, and transfered to cloth.

Today I also sortet through all my old flea market books, and let lots of them go in the garbagecan---

Many left my workroom without their covers :)

TYVEK -new material, to play with

This is my first attemp using Tyvek-

a non woven polyethylene material.

When warmed up, it makes bubbles,a nd holes, an other interesting reactions.

I tryed it here in this stamped collage, and likes it-do you see it ,it becomes rather

hard and heawy, after the warming up,-but you can still sew in it.

Just a hello , and  showing , a for me new material-do some of you know this,

and have you tryed it ??????

Twice a day-almost too much for me!- But it`s inchie day!

This week`s inchie word, was" powerfull" !

I thought long, for an answer ,and a way of showing ,power.

And all at once I knew, that the most powerfull thing, for me , is the heart.

The feelings ,coming from my heart, are powerfull, and strong-they can`t be whispered away-

they are there for everyone to see-and feel,-so finding this old high school  heart, I knew it was going to be added to my inchie, and it`s layers of fabric,paper,lace, and tulle.

It is postet with hopes ,that the world we live in, will see more heart power,in the future, and not so much war power.

And yesterday, I recieved a long awaited christmas gift, from my very dear friend Joanna, from Moss Hill Studio.

It was almost 1 month on its way, and I was so happy to recieve this little chubby cheeks, at last.

Isen`t she gorgeus-and fits her name wonderfully-she is really precius.

I love that little face with Joannas beautifully painted roses, her mouth,and  whole out-look.

Opening it up, I found pages filled with laces -beautifull in most white-lovely little pockets hiding
