WINTER CARD

Hello dear friends, seems long ago I was here, so wanted to show
a card, I recently made.
I was inspired of the sewing done by Diana https://velvetmothstudio.blogspot.com/
on this beautiful post , Thank you Diana !!
I used sprays , very diluted , and two stampsets from
That`s Crafty , : Lynne`s Affirmations set 6, and Set 7 ,
and also the script stamp from their Textures Collection Stamp Set 3.

No , I`m not back on the team, but Laura showed me much kindness,
so whenever I use from her products , I will mention the shop .
...........
I also used lovely sari ribbon , --and lace from sweet Jesse http://lace-age-girl.blogspot.com/

After stamping the tree , I sewed here and there on machine to show some
branches more off !!  If you click the photo , you can see it better !!
Also sewed a little flower stems , and added two winter white flower heads.
The circle is a remnant from New Years eve and the fireworks !!

Thank you for your visit, it is always a joy to see you here .

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Happy Morning to you Dorthe, this is a beautiful winter card. The little flowers gave me hope Spring is just around the corner. Our trees have offered much beauty this season, just hoping tonight and Sunday the heave winds and ice don't destroy their branches. All things here are cancelled, but I will truly enjoy my crafty space ! Have a great weekend.

Oh Dorthe this is really really beautiful, I could imagine this recreated in a variety of colours maybe one for each season? There is a love so strong for layering and sewing different mediums onto card and your composition and chosen colours are always a pleasure to see. The only downside is that we can only see and not experience how tactile this card will be.
Thank you so much for sharing today. I hope you are keeping well dear?
There will be a mail from me shortly Big Hugs on this blessed day Tracey xx

Oh Dorthe, this is a simply STUNNING card!! I adore the tree stamp from
Lynne's beautiful set! I actually own that one and don't use it often enough.... you have just totally inspired me to take it out... The wintry background is so beautifully done too and I adore all the other elements you added, it gives it all such a beautiful textural feel! Gorgeous, gorgeous wintry colours!! I LOVE this!!!

What a fantastic card Dorthe ! I so love the muted colour scheme and the fabric and little addtions are just presious and most of all the perfection to sew like a painter to complete the branches and the loose threads as extra interest - absolutely after my tase - a piece of Mixed Media eye candy! Simply GORGEOUS! I hope all is well at your end and you enjoy the first spring feelings!
Have a wonderful Sunday and rest of the month in case we don't "meet" blogvise in time !

Hugs, Susi

Hello Dorthe,
your card is so true to life for me right now in the very midst of winter~ It is so beautifully created dear friend. I did look close to see the great stitching detail on the tree; it is perfect! I love how you did that creative step. The stamping is lovely and just the right hint of it. I like the addition of the sari ribbon and Jesse's sweet lace. Even the circle you 'recycled' added a nice touch of symmetry.
Gorgeous work as always Dorthe! Thank you for sharing with us today~ Hugs, karen o

Oh Dorthe, hello! It's gorgeous! So happy to see my scrap of lace used so beautifully! I love that lacy tree with its fine detail, such a wintery scene of neutral beauty - you are so talented! Perhaps you are so good at using neutrals because so much of your Winter scenery is just that!
Wishing you signs of Spring soon, as we enter Autumn here and it's been raining for a couple of days at last! So fresh and rejuvenating after the hottest Summer on record (again!).

Love to dear friend,
Jesse XX
