A NEW PAGE IN MY JOURNAL ABOUT EMELY

Yes Emely is her name, and here she has already grown ,

she is celebrating her 12 years birthday,

having taken her photo at the photographer !!

She got the tiniest sweet cross, and a greeting from France !!

I love to use a little lovely rose colors here ,

of which I colored some laces myself !!

This rest of the week I will spend with this sweetest girl,

coming to visit me here. 

I know we will have fun together, she is such a darling

and I love her so much !!

So dear friends, see you next week, when I`m

left "allone" again.

MY FIRST PAGE IN MY JOURNAL FOLLOWING SUZY`S GORGEOUS CLASS !

I`m adding this to Wendy`s Simply Neutrals # 15

As you maybe remember this little girl was also on the front page 

I created long before Christmas, and we will follow her 

through some of her BIG days in life .

Her she is with her mother !!

Of course I am not lucky enough, to have photos from the same family through

a lifetime, so I gathered between my loved old cabinet cards ,persons

looking just a bit alike, to make this story, LOL.

Also used lots of old and newer lace for this page , where 

history almost disappear in the  mist,of years gone by !!

I also used a wonderful wallpaper behind them, thinking

it could have looked like that, in the sitting room of her parents home.

Today we have had a lot of snow here, but only a few days ago

the sky looked so very beautiful a late afternoon, with drifting

clouds in rose and blue/grey , with the tree making wonderful

silhouettes ,in the front !!

HERE ARE THE NEW RULES FOR FOLLOWING  VIA FRIEND CONNECT!!

We announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of the plan starting the week of Jan.11th, 2016 we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

Simply Neutrals #14

Simply Neutrals no. 14. 

This very neutral doll I created for my  dear friend Suzy http://suziqusthreadworks.blogspot.dk/

as christmas gift.

She is ,as you can see on her face, happy to be on her way, to

Down Under, and to Suzy, 

She was supposed to be maybe a girl with more zest, and kicking,

(can you say such in English?) but this kind and neat girl, took over.

And when the doll speaks herself, it is not easy to change ,lol.

She is wearing old fabrics and laces .

Her underwear is painted on, as is her boots ! 

And her shawl is pure wool ,to keeep warm.

This is my nature right now, so very cold and icy,

as you can see all nature is packed in ice from the waves throwing

water to the shore.

So very beautiful, is Father Frost, when visiting.

I hope you are keeping warm and cozy, the ones of you 

in the northern hemisphere, I know that my dolls is having a 

feast right now, with sun and beautiful warm weather, in

her new residence !

I hope you will go on honoring me with visits in this year just started !

Like this little bird, we will all go on building our "nests"  we will

hope for love to spread in the world, and pray for it to be a safer

place, for all humans, wherever in the world they live.

I will try to always remember this lovely words:

MAY EACH DAY BRING A NEW ADVENTURE &

AND MAY EACH MOMENT BE ONE TO TREASURE !

How much more joy we would feel , if each moment was treasured 

while living it, and not only in  back glance !
