FRIENDS ARE ANGELS WITHOUT WINGS

This romantic Valentine -like card I want to "send" to all of my dear blogging friends all over the world, to say thankyou ,for the most wonderful year gone. Thankyou also to new followers, I am so very happy to welcome you, and to experience your blogs,-- I look forward to many beautiful hours in your compagny-both new and old friends.

I also would like to show you this -I think-beautiful collection of english tee- and dinner service set.

I bought it many years ago, in a local antique store, and payed very little for all .

There is everything needed for 8 persons for dinner and tea-

and with so many different paintings /motives-which I love.-maybe you saw that on the dinner plate, there is
 snow falling!

And only on this 3 different pieces there are also 3 different motives.

here two dishes

I love to use this set in wintertime, and I love the name : Harvest time, The Friendly village.

We already started on second week in January-and I must say I so enjoy the quietnes and piece- that alwayes follows a new year here on this little island- piece to  breathe, and start all over creating for the new season to come, arriving with spring in May.

I hope you also have time to breathe, and to feel the new year slowly starting to take form.
I send you many hugs and love-
Dorthe

Dear Dorthe,

Thank you so much for the romantic Valentine card, you so kindly gave us.
Also for your beautiful friendship, so lovely to know you and I do love visiting you and your wonderful blog.
Your dinner set is so beautiful and love the gorgeous snowy scenes.
Enjoy the peace and quiet on your little Island, and I will do the same - here though we have many tourists that come over to enjoy the beach and summer.

Happy Thursday
Hugs

Thank you for a great little Card! I love it. I have a little blog and was able to mail several of my followers Christmas cards. I have met so many sweet and kind people in blogland. I love your Dinner set. I had something like that years ago, but I think it was made by Knowles company? It is just lovely! Hugs, one of your followers, Kim C ^i^

DOrthe, Just had to chuckle...this was the dining set we used all yearlong when I was a kid!! It was my mom's favorite. I ate SO much tomato soup in those bowls.

My dear sweet friend
That is such a beautiful card for your friends - who are like angels without wings to pick us up when we fall and to share in the joys of heartfelt things.
I so appreciate your beautiful friendship from afar!
That is a stunning dinner set Dorthe and probably quite rare with the gorgeous images of Winter snow scenes - a treasure, a keepsake and a joy to use!
I look forward so much to your new beautiful creations throughout the coming year.
Love you and hug you,
Suzy

The Johnson Bros. "Friendly Village" dishes you have here are the same ones I use everyday. I loved them years ago when we lived in Virginia and proceeded to buy enough place settings for eight people. I don't have the wonderful coffee pot, pitcher and covered dish. So, I love your choices!! Hugs to you!

What a gorgeous Valentine! so sweet! Your dishes remind me of my former husband's Grandmother. She had a set similar (of many) and lived in New England...lots of antiques in that part of the country. They are so beautiful!
We have SNOW - and no more sun! :( But it is January - so I guess that is the normal thing to have here this time of year! :) Happy Weekend my friend...stay warm! xoxo

Hi Dorthe,
thank you for the valentine card. It's so sweet! The dishes you have are amazing...what a great collection. We can't have nice dishes at our house because my husband always seems to break them when he's washing them. : )

Oh I love your dishes! They are so beautiful and must be so perfect for the wintry days inside by the fire. Someday I am going to go to England and get something like that!
We are in the thick of cold winter weather so days and nights are spent indoors with a fire every day - so cozy and warm and peaceful. It sounds wonderful where you are too Dorthe... enjoying these peaceful days!

Hi dear Dorthe,
I am coming out of hybernation and am visiting my favorite blogs again. I absolutely love these dishes. And I also love the name. I have never seen anything like it.
And you are even more blessed to have found them at such a good price.
I also looked at all the fabulous gifts and things you purchased on your last post. Everything is so lovely. I am always in awe of what people come up with. Love that little tree. I think it is quite alright to keep it out for awhile and enjoy.
I just finished putting everything away today.
Now I am dealing with computer problems again...it never ends, sigh...
Lots of hugs,
Evi
