EASTER AND INSPIRATION FROM A DEAR FRIEND.

MY BIG EASTER INSPIRATION  THIS FRIDAY WAS MY VERY DEAR FRIEND
ANNI  ,WHOM YESTERDAY CAME ACROSS THIS BLOGPOST

I just had to try it out- it is all about bleach--and stamps...

All the light places on the two collages I made, comes from dipping a stamp in bleach, and then stamp on a piece of paper.
The paper I used was a piece of light brown colored- that when being stamped turned out with pale patterns.

I hope you can see it--

Here maybe.....

But surely here-- a dark brown -and light blue paper stamped with bleach
isen`t it fantastic?
Thank you my dear Anni ,it is lots of fun--I know you will try it off ,too friend.

And because of the easter  friday ,I show you a few pieces from my collection of old  small crosses.

and two rosaries-this one is made with amber pearls

and this is wood.

I very much hope, you are all having a wonderful friday, dear friends and followers.
Big hugs, to you all.
xxx Dorthe

Hello Dorthe,
What a fun technique that is ~ I must try stamping with bleach! Your creations are lovely!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful crosses with us. The brightly colored one is very unique and very pretty! But I think the very simple one in the top row is my favorite.

I like your little cross collection! Something about religious articles has often captivated me. Strange, for I'm not religious. Hmmm.

It is gorgeous!!! The bleach is a good idea, for the textile also!
Thank you for presenting us this attractive collection of religious objects. In my region of France, Alsace, we find it a lot, I like using them in my work.

Hi Dearest Dorthe
Your tags look fantastic with that bleached effect. I have seen this done by a quilter using it on the back of the fabric allowing an amazing effect on the front on which to free machine quilt! Thank you for the link also. Your little collection of crosses and rosary is quite special and very old looking!
Hope Easter brings some special moments to relax.
Big hugs, big love,
Suzy

OH, dear Dorthe, your bleach stamping is so impressive! You have a talent for it and it does take talent. I tried it years ago but just didn't have as much luck as you have had! I want to wish you a very Happy Easter and please know how much I so appreciate you visiting me at the Honeysuckle Breeze. Although we are far apart in miles -- in blogland we are really next door neighbors! Hugs
