Hi Dorthe,
I am so sorry you are not feeling well. The flu isn't fun at all. If I were there I would bring you some chicken soup, soft tissues and a good book.

I love the pincushion, it's so pretty. And, I am in awe of the beautiful sea in your backyard.

Take care and get well soon.

hugs
Sissie

Oh my sweet friend,
I'm sorry to hear your sick. I wish I lived closer I'd bring you some soup. Try to take it easy this weekend & rest. The ocean looks amazing. My favorite time of year at the ocean is Winter, when it's foggy & cold. I like to walk the beach alone & think. Beautiful. Your swap with Diane looks wonderful. We had such a good trip to Round Top. We talked about you & Julia & how fun it would be to show you all the lace for sale. Have a good weekend, get well. Lisa

I've got weeds and woods in my backyard and you have an ocean? I love to hear and see the ocean. The pincusion is too pretty to stick pins into. Get well soon.

I think "Sissie" is right! Chicken soup, tissues and a good book sound perfect!

What a wonderful sight the sea is. I would never be able to create anything. I would want to stare at it all day. But you manage to create lovely things. I loved the pin cushion you sent to Diane and the one she sent to you is beautiful too!

Thank you for sharing about the giveaway.

Do take care of yourself, Dorthe, and rest. Hope you are better soon. Love your pincushion--it's so delicate and pretty. And the pictures of the sea: such raw power, and yet the sound of the surf is calming, it's rhythm marking the moments of the day. Be well.

Prima Idee!
Viele, allerliebste Grüße, kys og knus :-)

You poor darling, I am sorry you have the flu. I know you are so busy making your wonderful creations, but when you are ill, thats the last thing you want to do. Take it easy and dont stress over it. A few days off won't hurt.
The pincushion is so very pretty, but then all your creations are exquisite.
Did you try the Hot Toddy before going to bed, lol?

I love the scene outside your door! Such wild power!!

I came home from Croatia and immediately got the "flu" also. It was not Croatia (a place I love) that infected me but rather (I think) the airplane where there are all kinds of bugs I have never seen before! I did come home to three good friends having a similar illness. I guess it is just being passed around!

Do hope you get well soon. The flu is not fun :-(

How awful to have the flu, I hope it goes away real fast. What a beautiful pincushion you made,,,so like you, such sweetness. Thank you for showing the ocean, that is what I am used to, I love the violent waves,,,and the noise. I do miss it. Maybe I can get back home next summer. Going to the Gulf Coast is just not the same. Rather mild,,,like a big bathtub. I would love to see more of your coast.
Take care, I will send a healing prayer to you.

Hello Dear Dorthe. I was so sad to receive your email last night and to learn that you are still feeling under the weather. I hope you are better today! But I don't see you posting so maybe not? It is soooo hard for creative people to be sick! I think worse for us than for people who just sit on the couch and watch TV all the time. We want to be up and DOING things. But you take care! We're all sending big cyber hugs!
Love, Diane
