My first doll, fromCloth and clay Dolls

Two weeks ago I became a member of Cloth and Clay Dolls- a workshop on how to

make a doll using the material paperclay.

And here is my first attempt. The workshop is about making a doll ,as they were in the late 1800. Moddeled in clay over cloth, and body done in fabrick.

I dressed my first doll in white,-she only wear her bloomers, and a little jacket over the

bodice.

She just recieved her wonderfull summertime-hat, so had to try it in on, even without skirt!!!


She wears a photo of herself as child, around her nech

I think she is very satisfied with herself.

person. I remembered having this lovely old book, and

OWOH from LISA, and two driftwoodangels

My first OWOH gift has arrived, -and it is wonderfull.

I won all this fabric rolls, from Lisa , Mud Hound Studio .Lisa is a fantastic artist, -creating the most gorgeus and beautifull books,collages, and mixed media art pieces.

Her giveaway, was this collection of fabricks, bands,buttons, rusty mesh, flowerspieces,

stone, ........, a wonderfull bunch of different oppertunities, for creating something beautifull .

When opening there was this beautifull card from Lisa, made with a collection of the most wonderfull papers, and with a sweet regard ,to me.

Look at this ,-so many pieces of beauty and possibelities for a new life.
Dear Lisa, thanks so very much, I`m so happy, and feeling very lucky to have won this
from you.

The last two dayes I started creating some new driftwood angels.

This piece I found on the shore where I live ,and fell in love with it, because of the holes

and different colors.

I added glass pieces from the water, an old netting ,around her neck, something normally used, in the netting to float--and---------

She enden up like this,

The other one, was made of a piece of wood ,also found on the beach,

beautifull with some rusted pieces on,-

The bird, is copied on fabrick and mounted with Mica, a

little nest with feathers are waiting.

Her hair is also old netting from the sea.

Today when I really had to look through all my stuff, in my studio, I could not help doing this little birdsnest.

I have just bought this tool ,that you can make paper pots, for sawing seeds, and had to try it.

I used two diff. papers, old musiksheet and some very thin and used paper.

Then I filled it up with this thin yarn, and the bird.The egg is a small stone, that i painted.

I finished with a little bling-bling, a piece of driftwood, with the word :spring- silkribbon and lace

coloured in coffe, and some dried twigs.

This is a fantastic heart present

Today I recieved a fantastic gift, from my very very special blog-friend JoAnnA from Moss Hill Studio

As you all know, I admire and love the art of this wonderfull, strong, and dear woman, and it surrounds me in my home, from room to room.

She is the sweetest and most lovely woman in every way,-a friend that listens and helps--we talked and laughed together---------------

and her art is gorgeus and so special.

Inside this little bag, was the most wonderfull necklace, that Joanna made from old delicate materials, some from an old french silk baby bonnet,-- old laces, pearls, and chains.

Isn`t it the most beautifull thing ? I`m so in love with it,

thankyou so much my dear jojo.

When not around my neck ,it will be displayed here in my "office" together with some of your

other wonderfull artpieces.

I`m very thankfull for all the wonderfull moments I have adventured since being

a blogger, I met so many special and fantastic people, here,

some have become very dear friends, as you have read ,if following my blog.

Winter and a lovely giveaway

I would so have prefared to show you some wonderfull spring photoes,

but that is not how it is here for the moment being.The two last month

realy gave us all the winter every child could wish for.
