My second piece made from Artistclass

This is my second piece made from the wonderfull tutorials , in Artistclass , that is an ongoing workshop, that you can still partisipate in. this tutorial, comes from Lila LeVine ,take a look at her wonderfull blog, by clicking here.

I made my cuff with old laces, a very old flower used here in Copenhagen, on The Royal Theatre, and an old shoe jewelery , the N.... for nature.

nesteld below the -N-, a piece of driftwood ,from my beach .

I think I will keep this one for myself, -it was so great making it.

SOME FLEAMARKETING AND A NEW COLLAGE

I struggled out of my house today, to go the 20 meters to my studio,in snow, as I wanted to spend some time in there.

My collage is made from mostly fabric, but also paper,and stamping,

I love the light blue color with the brown . The photo is not quite the right color ,as in real, but shows it a little darker.

And as promised in my last post I have some wonderfull buyes to show you, from a fleamarket

I visited when I was in Copenhagen 1 month ago.

Here some old and beautifull laces.

Buttens, watch, chrystals,a bunch of old train tickets, and some bling,bling.

Just look at this leather bound heawy thing, with silver locket

A schoup, handwritten sermons

all inside this leather , and with the name of the minister

who wrote them.

Some handmade pinks , and in white paper doilies

Looks here ,a wonderfull old thing,

dirty but lovely,when clean I`m sure.
Can you immagine wearing something like that?

And last an old box of white buttons,Whom could get too much of those?

My first piece made in Artist Class

This is my first attemt ,on doing one of the wonderfull classes, offered here on

The shoe tutorial is made of Corinne Clarck--click her to visit her.

As I wanted to do a shoe smaller than the pattern showed, I made my own pattern ,on free hand so it might be slightly different, and not so perfect as Corinne`s.

The upper, sole and heal, is made of velvet paper.

The back decorated with an image Corinne had added, of M.A. and some wonderfull

bits and pieces from my stach of schraps.

The very pink band around nose.heal, and ??? what is it called?? is a beautifull velvet paper ,too.

And on top of it all, a beautifull brooch.

I love it.....

A wonderfull packet from Germany

As I told you yesterday, I recieved a wonderfull packet ,when being away last week.

It came from a very dear friend VIOLA. I had seen her fantastic beautifull collage in her last post (take a look for yourself ,by clicking her name) , and wrote to ask if I could buy it.

Isn`t it just so very awsome? and so beautifull made with all the layers, and text :Count your blessings. Meeting Viola is one of my blessings.

Inside the envelope was not "only " the collage, but also a gift for me.

a very sweet and beautifull little matchbox , look for yourself here.

When opening it up, I found a piece of lace inside. I took it out to study a bit more,

and out came a wonderfull soldered charm.

See here, this is - the one side of it. Could`nt be more fitting ,considering my metie


And here the other side ,with a very sweet darling girl.

It will soon be the last day for OWOH ,and I`m so exited to see whom is drawn

Two wonderfull giveawayes from two special friends

Returning home from Copenhagen late night yesterday, I`m still tired.I had a wonderfull trip

staying with my grandchildren, and their parents, -and satturday I went with train to Jylland,

to watch wholesale dealers , showing their new goods for spring, and to buy some for my shop.

But in spite of the tiredness, I just have to show you two fantastic giveawayes .

The first is my very dear, and very new friend Lisa from Tarnished and Tattered ,-she is giwing away a wonderfull collection of different old and yummy things. Click her name to visit her, beautifull blog, you will love it, and all she creates.

I want to show you a little part of a banner Lisa made me ,in a swap, it is just so very beautifull,

hanging in one of my rooms, even christmas is over. Lisa is a beautifull friend, and wonderfull artist, that I so admirer, for whom she is ,and for what she creates,

I ordered a pair of her new created ballet slippers,--soooo darling sweet,

I will show them when they arrives.

And then the other special giveaway, that comes from Dawn from The Feathered Nest.

Dawn was one of the first bloggers I "dared talk " to, -she ,at once, was the most sweet, and

wonderfull person to me, helped me ,if asked,- and even gifted me with a beautifull box, that I wanted to buy from her shop, I still love it sweet, and looks at it every day. Dawn was the very first dear friend I got here in blogland
