HELLO JANUARY

Hello friends,  how are you, and your January?

No much winter here, but all the same bleak tones outside in nature ,
so I was inspired to this collage .

I love this stampset  from PaperArtsy, and
found a skeleton leaf to use with it .
The bird is highlighted with the wonderful
That`s Crafty Acrylic Liqued Wax .

I hope you all have a good start on the new year , -- and  I send
my best wishes to the Australian people suffering so much , for
them soon to have ongoing rain in the affected areas .

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Hello Dorthe! I love your beautiful piece. It sure has been a strange winter here, but today it is very cold and the sun finally came out! It has been a struggle without it! I look forward to 2020 and hope you have a wonderful year!

Wonderful interpretation of January, Dorthe. We are just coming out of the deep freeze and are enjoying some warmer weather today. Lovely to see your creations here. Let's hope spring will be soon. All my best, Helen xo

Lovely Winter Nature inspired collage Dorthe Dear. My January days are going all too quickly however I am determined to accomplish mt tasks. The word CLARITY selected me on New Years Eve and it will help guide me through this year of 2020 Vision. May you be well and have lots of Creative Bliss. I also am praying for Australia to be free of fires. Thank you for setting up the Prayer Chain on FB Messenger for our beloved Suzy and husband. XO

Dorthe, I like your mid-Winter "bleak" image. It captures the greyness of many of our winter days here in Michigan, USA. Although right now we have quite a bit of snow covering the ground and trees and plants so that brightens things up quite a bit and even more when the skies clear and the sun shines.

My heart goes out to the Australians suffering from the terrible wildfires, too. So awful for them.

Absolutely gorgeous collage Dorthe. The leaf looks amazing against the beautiful background and the bird really pops with the glossy finish.
Trying to visit more this year as it was sadly lacking last year!

Dearest Dorthe, i'm so glad I checked before closing down for the night. Lovely as always to see a creation from you on blogger. You have caught the bleakness of Winter within your design love how the found leaf sits on top of the book page with those beads like new life just waiting for Spring time to hatch.
The acrylic wax sounds very interesting I may need to take a better look and see how it works, it could be handy for many things and maybe less messy. Thank you for the information.
I hope you are keeping well and wish you a beautiful creative weekend. We have family over tomorrow as it is Burns night and my boys demand a haggis, neeps and tatties supper. Big Hugs Tracey xx
P.S Keeping our Australian friends in our thoughts & hearts xx

Your beautiful page is a perfect reflection of the grey January tones which seem to be everywhere at the moment. I love the delicate textures of the leaf skeleton, and the Sara Naumann is just perfect for the mood you've created. Happy January... though I should almost be saying happy February!

this is such a beautiful collage Dorthe - I have always enjoyed your little birds. The concertina book you are making is also beautiful with so many layers and textures. I especially like the buttons tied on with long threads - they look amazing.
