MIXED MEDIA COLLAGE !

This started with a under-paper  -used to spare my table for paint
and texture paste  -, to which I adhered music paper,
Danish poems papers and after sprayed with same tone as
already on the under-paper -

The beautiful Catherine Moore stamp was fussy cut and adhered
on top , and teabag paper added underneath her . The sweet ,wonderful
apple stamp, which I received from my lovely friend Donna, thank you my sweetest friend-- , was also stamped and then fussy cut , and Lynne`s beautiful flower was stamped directly onto the
paper .

The woman , apple ,and flower ,all was treated with lovely
Beeswax, -a gift from my dear friend Lynne , -I gave it several
layers, (sorry you cant see it ) and it stands so beautiful and
shiny after having been buffed a bit with a soft cloth .Thank you my dear Lynne.
Also she got a little extra hair from black threads :-)

You can see the great effect from the spraying ! I also added
both lace and rough rope band ,  sewn to the collage, on sewing machine ,
leaving long ends of black thread to hang ,--the lovely postmark and stamped a
line from Lynne`s Affirmations , onto corrugated cardboard , were adhered.

The paper was adhered to craft card , and a knitting yarn
was added to hang the collage.

So we already have Friday again, and here it is still
very mild, -no snow, and only rain , but I saw the sun today,
and that was wonderful !!

Hugs and love to you all,
and a happy weekend
Dorthe

Another beautiful piece Dorthe, so much care and attention taken to add your favoured mediums to display those gifts. Beeswax adds that personal touch of nature bringing on a whole new dimension to anything it touches. The stamped words are a message to inspire us all. Delightful..
Wishing you a super weekend, i'm glad the weather is being kind to you.
Big Hugs Tracey xx

Hello Dorthe, What an exquisitely detailed and interesting collage. I love the flower stamp, the dyed lace flowers and all the gorgeous layers of texture here. The stamps are divine, and your usual neutral palette looks amazing. I would like to try beeswax - I have some ready, but haven't taken courage yet.

I just want to say thank you for the beautiful card you sent me - I hope you receive yours soon, too. It's a sweet masterpiece. I love it!

Sending love and hugs,
