Hello friends, I`m back, with a new CHALLENGE for the months, of July ,
called :CLOSE TO NATURE ( TREES -LEAVES )
This time I used an MDF panel, over which I smeared thinned gesso, and after dry ,
using the Dinky tree stencil , stenciled 3 trees onto the background, using Leaf green and Coffee Archival inks.
After I stamped the text stamp here and there, on panel also in brown .
And beneath the trees , I stamped flowers from Lynne`s Wildflower
set, and painted them with white , several times, adding lots of paint to
create a 3-d look.
A greyboard tree was painted in green brown tones - using the inks again ,
and the trunk also stenciled
with a Dinky stencil to add a bark, look, to it.
White and green tulle, were heated with the heat-gun to create flower heads,
Tiny greyboard leaves were painted,
and words from Lynne`s stampset , stamped onto white paper.
Tree , flowers , leaves, and text were adhered,- the flowers with a faux rhinestone in the centers.
With my Crop A Dile I made holes on top panel, and added a piece of old rusty
metal thread, as hanger. Around the perimeter I smeared brown ink- and under the stenciled trees green , to act a bit mossy :-)
This challenge will start at 11am today !!!

Beautiful work Dorthe, I love your trees - what a beautiful stencil that is -and the flowers are creating such gorgeous texture - the heated tulle is a brilliant idea and just adds that extra special touch. It's always such a pleasure seeing your beautiful work.

This theme is so you Dorthe, I could not wait to see what you would create. Such a clever use of the small tree stencil creating depth to your hanging panel. Your trio of tulle flowers are so delightful.
