QUIET STRENGTH
Challenge : - Green with Envy (make green the main
colour)
Green is
the color of hope , we say in Denmark, and of springtime, and beautiful nature,
when on it`s fullest in summertime . Even in winter we bring inside the
beautiful green Christmas tree .
So this
CHALLENGE over at : http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/ ,is
filled with possibilities for you to take part .
My example , is a very simple creation,
using one of the White Greyboards panels
, smeared over with Green, mixed with a little Yellow
,---- the lace was adhered after dry, and also painted with the mixed green/yellow
. when dry I used the Light Texture
paste over the Feather stencil, - using white mixed with a little chestnut brown
.
Also a little amount of the
wonderful Texture Sand paste was smeared onto the panel on top of the feather ,
and left to solid dry.
On a piece of craftpaper I stamped
half the Affirmation from Lynne`s set 4 ,cut it out and adhered it to the top
panel ,using a green fineliner , to line out the perimeter.
Chestnut Brown paint was diluted
with water, and with my finger smeared over the feather , and the perimeter of
the tag. Also to the lace , was added a little, to give shadows of interest.
The texture paste was over painted
with the beautiful Pearl paint, and a piece of nature bark was adhered to right
side panel .
Now , if this gave you a desire, to
create your own Green challenge piece, and maybe win this Voucher– all you have to do is hope over here
: http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/ to read the rules, and create your own art piece .
Thank you for visiting me, it always
brings big pleasure to me.
Hugs and love
Dorthe

Oh, that is lovely - such a gentle, soft shade of green, perfect to complement the feather which looks just wonderful. Beautiful textures and connections to the natural world as always, Dorthe.

Quiet Strength takes courage....what a perfect theme! The silver feather is a lovely focal and your greens and browns look just right with it. The whole piece has an "Older" feeling which really plays well with your theme.
Gorgeous!
