My latest BIRD book .

It seems I`m very connected to creating cards ,collages, and even books with birds,

and also this time, I couldn`t resist creating another bird theme journal.

It is also still a love affair with old laces, -and fabrics.
The birds are all transferred to fabric.

And I added nature things, like old bark, feathers,

Words !!

findings from the sea shore, and drift wood !!

I love the birds related stamps, I have , and used them on fabric , too.

Remnants from the ocean !!

Pearls and laces,

a piece of cord, found like that, on the shore,

and beautiful buttons !!

She got a little bling , :-)

Love the tulle, and thin fabrics to see through .

And at last the back cover showing the wing of that amazing
appliqué bird !!

Thank you for following me, all the way to the bottom,
so many photos , but wanted to show every page, to you.

As you can see, I am in spring mood, and spend the afternoon cleaning up my new garden.
Everywhere the sprouts are saying hello, now, and I`m so exited to see what it is,
when blooming, soon .

I wish you all, a very wonderful weekend, dear friends.

Hugs and love from Dorthe

Dear Dorthe ~ I enjoyed reading and admiring each page and then I had to go back for a closer look at each beautiful page.
Your beautiful bird book illustrates your Love affair with nature and pieces of this and that from days gone by...the rusty pin...special cord from the seashore...a precious rhinestone collar for one of your feathered friends = all so beautiful!!!
Printing the birds on fabric is also a great touch along with how you stitched them onto the pages.
Clicking for a closer look I got to enjoy the sheer netting and delicate details.
Happy that Spring has sprung for you.
It keeps trying here and then it gets very cold again.
Mother Nature is a tease...but we all know spring is so worth waiting for.
Enjoy * Enjoy sweet friend and thank you again for this splendid look at another of your art filled creations oxoxo

Your bird book is absolutely gorgeous! What a dear natural theme to choose, and your employment of feathers and driftwood really bring the beach within. The netting and lace, buttons, little bits of embroidery and your LOVE make this book a true treasure! I am holding this book as I as write, lol, as I am blessed with it by you! Thank you dear friend. Your gift of creativity and friendship has blessed me beautifully : )

I look at this and know you created it!!!
I immediately associate you with images of birds, this association has been from the first days I viewed your art. You are always so sympathetic to nature and especially birds, when you work with the images, your love for nature shines through. Also, your love for old laces and trimmings which bring a delicate appearance to all you create.
Divine creation, definitely a work of art from the heart.
