NEW LAVENDERPILLOW, A GIFT AND A SWAP!

Aren`t we ready for spring ,all of us having had snow now for what seems month`s ?

I am!  which showes in my lavender pillow with one of the spring signs:

a sweet bird !The pilow is totally filled with lavender and lined with

lovely laces!

Last week I recieved the sweetes spring letter from a dear friend of mine:

BETTINA   -she is a wonderful filter-and send me this

sweet packed!!!!

LOOK what was inside ...the sweetest spring egg ,with the 

most lovely little pink birdie on it`s paper nest-made in felt.

I love it !!! Thankyou dearest friend .

And just another photo of my little pillow, to wish you all

I know mine will be both wonderful and happy, as I`m going to celebrate

my sweet grandkid Mathilde`s 6 years birthday tomorrow- and spending

some dayes with my dear little family.

IN A PINK MOOD, -COLLAGE

It`s no secret that I love pink ,and even more when it is in soft

tones like here. This collage is made with a beautiful old

rosa book cover, on which I mounted a very lovely

old page from a photo album-I love the golden edge 

around the photo.

It is not the real photo but a copy from my printer,

laied behind the frame, and decked wit a piece of

wonderful old tulle.

I stamped the text with a french text on the frame,

and added a mixture of  a Tim Holz die flower,

and petals from a storeboughts one. The paper petals  are

first altered and bend to look real. Also stamped the

qoute on paper before adding.

On the top I crunschet a piece of  tissue paper, and if you

blow up the first photo you will see ,that I also used a piece of  wipe

(wet towel) ,to the bottom and the right side, which give a special effect!

JOY ON A GREY DAY !

Look what came to my door, on a very grey and cold day!

So wonderfully filled with beautiful things!

Apart from being a wonderful friend, Liz is also a wonderful artist!

Look at this lovely card ,she made me. 

The flowers are so beautiful with the old birds drawings around.

OH , and my heart shipped a beat when opening this ...

The most sweet and beautiful 1950 copy ,of the old real

wax communion crowns- isen`t it wonderful!!!

A closer look of  the lovely whiteness with a touch of rosa.

I never thought I should see one in my own hands,-dearest Liz 

you gifted me with  something I thought I could only  dream of !

I love it , thankyou from my heart,sweetie.

Also I love those old German porzelain dolls ,and am so

happy to recieve them, as they are not easy, if

at all  possibly to find in Denmark.

On top of these fantastic gifts, my sweet generous

friend, also send me a wonderful old French school book.

My other photoes were not good, -but inside

it is filled with pages of  old dayes  slanting handwriting examples,

for the students to watch and then try to rewrite,in a notebook.

And I love it, -it is so gorgeous for collages,

only I will not destroy it, but only make scans :-)

Theese wonderful things were also inside,-braid,buttons ,wall paper,

and see the mending wool card, that Liz explained me were made

 to cut from, whenever a costumer askes for a piece of wool to mend

 something with.Here we did not have such , only little ones finished to buy! 

Thank you my lovely dear friend, I am so touched over,

all this amaxing gifts from you, they are so very special to me,

and you made my grey day so happy and joyfilled.

We still have snow and cold in Denmark, and the sun is waiting

to show it`s face where I live, I hope it will soon be a little

more springlike.

MY "NOTES DÀMOUR "

Yesterday I just had to play with NANCY again, after

seing her beautiful example of "Notes dàmour"

I made the heart with a free image from a link Nancy added to the tutorial

called CHICKS ,- also used pieces of  lovely fabric,lace,and transparent

node paper. The image is printed on cardstock ,and gave me this 

distressed copy, that I loved.

To the envelope I added old lace too, and a sweet feather.

then stamped ,-with love!

MY FIRST PRAYER FLAG!

For long I have wanted to make a prayer flag, but had untill now not taken step

to do anything about it !

Then today, when visiting NANCY`s   14 Hearts no. 8 day-she made 

the most beautiful and romantic heart prayer flags, and that got me going.

So here it is ,-made from an old piece of  table cloth,on which I 

pieced the "flag" ,- on top of that a heart made from a paper napkin.

Under the heart I embossed this line of hearts, on handmade paper,

and as you see below, I was again true to my loved dried leaves.

that i love to use .

The cutest girl is a Paper Whimsy  image, and I needed a tiny piece of driftwood,too.

I stamped the : with love- and gave the leave and heart a coat of  Golden,

so it is resistant to touches and dust.

SOLVED my problem ....Thankyou !!!

Seems my problem is solved after I 

scanned the computer ,-got rid of all the cookies, and said goodby to the

blog, that Google told me caused the problem, so it is no longer in my blog list!

THANKYOU FROM MY HEART FOR ALL YOUR DEAR WELL WISHES

Dearest friends- I`m so thankfull for all your kind and sweet ,well wishes send to me

those last 2 weeks ,where I have been under the weather with a nasty flu/ cold-that still

haven`t left me ,-only been a bit better,- as my fever has gone, and the coughing is not

as persistent those last dayes.

she made some sweetest little hearts  (go to check it out)-and for the first

time in those weeks, I was inspired to make my own little creation.

As I`m still not in my shop / workroom, I had to deal with the little materials I have inside here,

so the heart is not at all like nancy`s . But you inspired me dear friend, thank`s for that!

I used a Paper Whimsy image, and a piece also from a P.W. sheet called :The Riddle.

The butterfly is punshed with Martha Stewarts punch-and the little hearts stamped on 

a tea bag paper.

You have all made me smile and feel good ,reading your greetings,

and I feel blessed with so many dear friends.
