ALREADY ONE WEEK GONE AGAIN, WELCOME TO NEUTRALS TUESDAY !!

First I will show you a cross I made the other day.

I had  this wooden cross cut out for a long time , and

finding it late October, naturally made me wish for a 

festive christmas cross, so I started with stenciling on top of

the whitepainted cross, then added silver paint and silver leafe

in the tips, and a faux  Cameo in the center.

The roses are handmade, too 

Here you see the "cameo" with silver glitter around !!

The next neutral is another winter card, using the

wonderful scate die with embossed background, fur,and a glitter

snowflake .

The glitter is not seen real well here !!

Lastly a little angel, created for my very dear friend,

using a paper pulp head ,bought on Etsy, I used an old

handkerchief for her dress, and created wings of papers and lace .

I painted the face minimalistic ,and her hair too.

SIMPLY NEUTRALS NO. 8

Hello dear friends, it is that time of the week again !!

Today I want to show you, this piece from Sandra Evertsons series

of Relics and Artefacts , which I altered from plain whits resin,

to this silvery beauty.

I used silver leaf on top of the sacred heart, distressed it

a bit, and added rhinestones, and some plastic ones, too

The text I found on a tea-paper bag , and love it ,here.

This resin heart I recieved from my very dear friend Lynne https://lynnesbowsandbelles.wordpress.com/

together with others of Sandras beautiful pieces, and with 

this most beautiful card ,too.

It is so very lovely and adorable , and I`m so grateful for my gifts

my very lovely ,dear friend !!

I also want to show you just this one flower, from my

autumn garden ,the most stunning ever,

called Cafè au Lait !! 

And last another new christmas card, in black and white,

and silver.  I used a paper napkin on fabric transfer, with the

beautiful tree , the wonderful stamp from Artistic Outpost,

and bark stars and tree , the little tulle adds a bit of softness, I think.

from my daughter and grandkids, whom "stole" my time from

blogging last week, and also my internet has been down for 3 full days !

My own neutrals this week is first, a part of my cover from the wonderful class

This is only a part of the cover, using an old cabinet card, and

an old buckle. The rose I made from muslin, and used lots of 

different laces, some older than others !

And the other neutral creation today, is a christmas card,

in many layers ,using both paper and laces.

So fun to create the "frosted" leaves ,and using the real little

alder cones.

A LOVELY GIFT FROM A BLOGFRIEND--AND AUGUST SWAPS FROM KIMBERLY !!

Have you ever returned home , to be greeted , from an almost 

unknown blogfriend , with some lovely gifts ?

That happened to me some weeks ago.

Yesterday after returning home from some wonderful days in Copenhagen 

with our daughter, and grandkids, I just had to see the beach again.

Here from my beach as, you can see , there are only NEUTRALS ,

Stones ,stones and stones as far your eye can reach !

but also beautiful, laying there, in front of the grey sea !!

This is the front of the book I showed pages from already,

made in a class of Nellie`s , I love the spine with the

beautifully pearl embroidered tulle !!

Another paga inside, -this book is all about nature !!

This wooden piece with the gorgeous rose, I bought as is, some

years ago, in an antique shop in Copenhagen , I think it is beautiful!!

And  maybe you saw this before, as it is one of my christmas cards from last year,

I think I soon have to start ,the creating of more, for this years christmas !!
