I`m a bit off my feet again, so not that much on my computer,-

I hope it will soon be better , and I`ll  be my old self again!!

This mini book, was a part of a gift to a very dear friend,, 

and just wanted to show you the few pages !!

You all know by now, that I love birds and nature!

This front shows the map, of the tiny island ,where I live.

It was all about papers, fabrics , and nature pieces !

kept in nature colours, and blue!

I love that colour combination!!

The pocket is made to hold a tag ,or something else .

I love the little pieces of old gold braids !!

JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU SOME PAGES FROM MY LATEST BOOK !!!

I created this book for my very dear friend YVONNE  : http://yitte.blogspot.dk/   as a thank you for the 

always stunning and beautiful  gifts she is sending me !!

I wanted it to be a nature book, and used  birds transferes and pictures.

I also incorporated nature finds ,like seaweed,

dried leaves 

and beautiful bark

Ofcourse there should also be lots of old laces, many of which I dyed first,myself!!

The skeleton leafe on the cower, is one I bought !!

Here the spine , in old fragile lace, and pearls !!

This coming week the schools are closed for fall vacation, and I`m 

having wonderful visits from my dear grandchildren - coming 

this friday  to stay with us one week :-)

when not able to visit you !!

It is mainly of fabric...but I also added Tyvek and paper.

I used old and new materials -all of them coloured in tea,

or dyed with other nature plants-

I used one of my favorite Paper Whimsy images - printed

on fabric. It is app.  12 inches long and app.8 inches wide.

There will be other small surprices added ,--but for now this will be the 

real giveaway ...

Also just wanted to show you what I made from My sweet friend DAWN `s

wonderful Fairy Shoe pattern, which  you can find clicking her name here  above!!

It is a lovely little 4 inch long shoe, and it is  so easy to follow her instructions !!

I made mine in black velvet, with silver pattern...my first christmas

piece this year.
