A MOST BEAUTIFUL BELATED BIRTHDAY GIFT from Texas !!

I`m sure most of you know LISA from  http://tarnishedandtattered.blogspot.dk/

Lisa is a very dear and long time friend of mine, and this wonderful friend ,send me a gorgeous birthday gift all the way from Texas !

This picture, made from nature finds, she collected in Colorado, and the sweetest old 

photo of a little girl. Isen`t it amazing,- I think it is a gorgeous gift , and even more 

special, knowing Lisa herself found it all , on her vacation.

And then this beautiful weaved purce, that Lisa made herself ,too-

and also had a workshop for,  -for  people lucky enough, to live near enough to attend.

I have so admired this gorgeous purces ,- and she so dearly 

gifted me one, and also the explanation and the frame to make one myself!!

Isen`t this lovely, with the attatched birdie image, and all the extra laces put inside !!

And then she even added a beautiful handfull of other laces too!!

Here you see the frame for weaving behind  a lovely old button card!

some gorgeous sparkling buttons ,  and a letter H...stencil.

Also a book cover frame, for me to create with and decorate , and 

behind it all you can see a gorgeous piece  of special transfer "paper"

JUST WANT TO ANNOUNCE THAT MY COMPUTER WORKS AGAIN !!!

And for that I`m very thankful- luckily is was no virus , and now it is all cleaned up,

I used a sweet paperdol bought from https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlteredArtifacts

dressed her in old tulle, and attached her to a card stamped with French images!!

This most beautiful and feminine tag, I recieved from my very dear friend, Lynne   http://lynnesbowsandbelles.wordpress.com/

HELLO DEAR FRIENDS,- MY COMPUTER IS ACTING STRANGELY !!

I THINK  I NEED A LITTLE CLEAN UP-

I HAVE DIFFICULTIES ON BEING ON THE INTERNET !!

and all the time have to restart and try again,-so if suddenly you don`t hear 

much from me, you know why!!  :-((

I hope it will soon be fixed, and will try to make a few visits from

my husbonds computer, when he does not use it

A FEW NEWER PIECES ,AND SUMMER ALMOST GONE!!!

I just wanted to show you two new pieces I created this summer,

that I have not yet shown!! 

The first is a tag, made with papers and a rolled flower.

I used both handmade paper and others !

And this is a flag that I called "wings of love"

I used a beautiful piece of  linen, on which I created a collaged heart, using

lots of different fabrics and laces. The ruler piece is paper .

I stamped a beautiful Tim Holz wing on a tea dyed piece and 

added it too ,to form the point, of the heart-

 and also added a handmade paper rolled flower. I love

the heart`s  tarnished look .

As written in my head line, we do not really have summer anymore here!

It has already started to look a bit like early autumn, with lots of winds,

rain and colder temperatures- and those most beautiful  popies from my 

garden, have long gone!!  I just thought they looked so gorgeous, and

wanted to show them to you!!

How are you around the world?? Still having lovely summer in some places I know,

others of you, just started early spring!!! 

But wether sun,rain or storm, I wish you beautiful hours enjoying your 

nature surroundings, and your creative dayes, dear friends.

BEAUTIFUL ECO DYING !!!

I have played a bit more with eco-dying and love those results I got this time.

I find it hard to get really good results, and think I have to study my

India Flint book some more.

This is a bath made with a weed from the roadside ,I will have to find out it`s name!!

It gives a most lovely old-rosa tone .

This is the same plant, but with more water in the pot, and with a dried plant!!

Love I can see the rusted key I packed inside the bunddle .

Watercolour paper damped in pot with leaves from Eucalyptus inside!!

And the same plant as the rosa toned laces ,here also damped  between

watercolour papers!!

which is not possible to purchase here in Denmark- so when

 announced I was the winner,- I jumped of joy , knowing she herself have

 2 pages showing her lovely decorations ,and creations, inside !!!

It is so lovely,-thank you my dearest friend,- HUGS and KISS !!!

Now my sweet grandkids and my daughter left the island ,and returned home, 

to start school , first year for Mathilde,-seventh year for Gustav ...they becomes

so grown up,and they are dearly missed here,where the house became

so quiet and emthy-like after they left!!

So what better ,than start blogging again, helping me getting back in swing again!!
