A STAMPED COLLAGE winter, and other things

My stamped collage is ca. 15x10 cm made on paper, and with fabric, I have

used MICA again, and a dried flower from summer

This one is made with a transfered picture -from a copi to fabric using acrylic paint.

Almost all the materials are beautifull old things.

It is a gift made to a very dear friend.

A gift from my dear friend Bente in Australia, she sends me every year a new calender, and this time I found a stack af wonderfull old photoes inside too. Thank`s so very much dear Bente.

WINTER IS REALY HERE, THIS IS LOOKING INSIDE OUT

This old tree in my garden, is full of beautifull "birdsnests" that is realy a sickness,

in the tree, --but it looks fantastic, I think.

FINALLY A NEW COLLAGE

I finally finnished a new collage piece.

I used some of the inspiration from one of the wonderfull workshops

I am still a member of: Tattered Threads Fabric Art from JoAnnA Moss Hill Studio,

it is still running, and a great place to be and learn.

This piece is made on linnen .The Marie photo is in paper, and covered with a piece of Mica flake ,and the whole thing is a mix of paper and fabric with stamps and old buttons, and a key.

It was good starting creating again. I actually startet this piece while staying with my daughter, and then finished it at home. -I like using the Mica -, as an old broken window- like here.

LISA from Mud Hound Studio helped me find this great thing, thank`s dear Lisa.

Here the weather is still very wintery-- heawy night skyes, with snow waiting to fall.

And beautifull sunrises in the early mornings

When seing there was a new Erosion bunttle blog

going on ,I had to try it out myself.

I did not joyn ,but made my little packet ,and

hang it from the terrace outside my studio.

I`m very exited to see what it looks like when opened in Martz

A WONDERFULL EXCHANGE

Start december I asked LISA to buy one of her beautifull art pieces,a banner, and two old angels.She, sweetly asked me if we should make an exchange instead, because she liked my dolls.

And I was happy, and honoured.I so wanted to have this very beautifull banner from her,and Lisa made one especially for me, --- I love it. Look how very beautifull all the old papers she used is.

My favorite is Maria with the Jesus child.And the Y is mounted on a velvet piece of paper, and she did the letters herself with German glass glitter,-so very wonderfull, -you have to see it for real, as the pictures don`t do it justice.

She also gave me a sweet,sweet flower, made on a piece of old quilt, so very lovely.

And extra ,extra theese two big tags, I tell you they are so beautifull, -I love the sepia tones, and the white stamps on top.

And the old plaster angels, shown first in this blog is special for me, as they are very rare to find here in DK.

Back home, and 3 more dayes to go for the giveaway

Hi all, I`m in my home again, after 9 wonderfull dayes with my lil family.

I`m tired but have had so many great experiences with my grandchildren,that

will make me smile for months.

Before leaving the island, I recieved this beautifully packed buy, from Lisa -look at the

beautifull star she made and gave me.

Inside was this lovely, and wonderfull cart I had bought in her shop

Isen`t it a beautifull little picture,-I love it Lisa.

MY FIRST GIVEAWAY

It is time for my first giveaway, --not that I`m having any round numbers coming up,

but it must be a little bit more than, two years now, since Tina from Tiny Bears gave me this blog installed and finished to use, as a christmas present.

I`m still very thankfull for that Tina.

I have chosen this all year round angel to be the gift,as I think,we can all use a little angel,in our surroundings.-She is almost 25 cm long and dressed in

silk and cotton. The winner will recieve her with a personal tag in her hands,instead of the

flowerpetals.

This is how the Eastsea looks like for the moment being. the picture is taken from

my back garten,which goes direct into the water.

It`s wild ,very stormy (18meter pr secund) and very beautifull
,and with more that 4 meter high waves.

Tomorrow I`m sailing to Sweden, and from there with bus to Copenhagen
to be with my daughter for a while, I hope the weather is a bit more friendly by then.

Snow-- and a purchace worth waiting for

Just how beautifull is that ? yes very much is`nt it ? Snow covering everything,

And when sun dissapers, and dark is upon us, my little yars still looks beautifull covered in snow





A beautifull thing was delivered on my door today.
Before christmas I fell in love with one of JoAnnA`s
fantastic dolls, ordered it, and waited.
And today 15 dayes after it was send,I recieved it.


This is how it was beautifully packed,with
strips of old papers, and with some cloves
in the bag, to make it all smell like wonderfull.



And inside she was -my :Old Soul --
from one of my dearest blogging friends,
a woman, that in spite of many big and seriously
privat problems, continues to create the most fantastic little creatures,
wallhangings-bottleart,-just to mention some of the many art pieces,-she is
doing.
I love this small fairi tales of hers, and am blessed to
have some of them in my home.
IS`NT SHE WONDERFULL ?


Joanna thank`s my friend, she is so wonderfull,
and I totally love her.

Monday I`m going away for some dayes, but before I will present my first giveaway,
