A NEW LITTLE HANGER, AND CHRISTMAS STARTING TO SHOW IN MY HOME .

Having saved ceveral old gold wooden frames , not totally intact,
I got the idea of using them for little collages, as embellishment.
I kind of like the look ,with the other neutral tones.

I also used burlap behind the laces ,transferred photo ,stamp, and a tiny Chralotte doll.
I believe it has been every little girls wish, back then !!

Here some glimpses from my home ,
The house I created myself,-the  wonderful bottle brush tree is purchased from dear  Kimberly of ArtJoyStuff-
the sweetest little glass dome on foot with the christmas tree inside, I once won
from dearest Dawn from
The Feathered Nest
And the loveliest angel doll, is a gift from my other very dear friend  Terri,
from Artfull Affirmations

Here a corner ,showing an old pedestal, a wooden candle stick and another one
in rusted metal.

My table is filled with old pitchers ,glass candle sticks, and under glass ,some
bottlebrush trees, and other sweetness, among them a beautiful heart from my
dear friend Lynne from Adorn.

As you can see I`m also collecting old pictures, paintings and many
other things ,- lol.

Tomorrow I`m off ,for a tour to see my daughter and grandkids, in
Copenhagen, while my husbond takes care of our house :-) .
We are to have a real christmas shopping tour in the centre of Copenhagen ,to
enjoy the christmas decked city and enjoy a day off,-all 4 of us.

I will be home sunday again, but will not be much online ,while away,
so I  wish you all a wonderful rest of the week, and
a beautiful weekend to come.

Thank you to all visitors,  I`m so happy to see you here, and to
read your comments.

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Dorthe
I hope I am not too late to visit you before you leave for your journey to visit your family.
You are such a clever woman to utilise this to create the top hanging for the oh so beautiful fabric collage, exquisite.
I adore when you open the doors of your home and allow us to take a visit at all your beautiful winter and festive decorations.
I will explain why I have been so quiet in an e-mail to you.
Wishes to you
Lynne

You are going to have such fun shopping with your family dear Dorthe. What a happy time it will be!!! I'm so happy to know you will have this time with them.
I really love how creative you are in using the pieces of gold frame in the collage. It's lovely and then when I look at the close up of you collage, I LOVE the stitching around the picture and the way you have sewn on the lace. It makes it so unique. I have always sewn mine on with straight stitching, but I learn so much from you and how I could think outside the box and be a little more creative like you. Your pieces always have that 'something special' about them that really sets them apart.
I loved seeing all the decorating you are doing around the house and know how much you must enjoy it and the season of the Christmas time.
sending love your way...

Hello and good evening, sweet Dorthe, it is soooo good to see such treasures and beauty on your blog. It is something my heart needs at the moment, as Martina's sad news also touched me.
I am happy to see that you are well and having a intimate time with your beloved ones. It is so dear and essential not to be alone, to have people full of understanding and love around...
Anyway... Love can seen spreading from your sweet angel collages and the decoration in your home. It seems so cozy and natural! A home where actual people are living! I am happy to have seen you here and today!
Take care, my dear friend! Life is precious!
Hugs from Manu
