CARD FOR CHRISTMAS !!

Yes I know it is early, but I like to start creating my
christmas cards early ,this year !!

I have had to face ,-dear friends, that now ,as I`m a retired, I simply
can`t afford to send heavy packages around the world for
christmas, with gifts, - so from now on it will be a beautiful
card!! I so hope everyone, with whom I normally,  "exchange " gifts,
agree with me, and think it is ok !!!

This card is mainly papers, with a tiny lace,
a  gloss photo , stenciled snow, and

a little glitter !

I loved crumbling up old papers to give texture and let the
image kind of fly!!

I hope you liked it !!

Thank you alwayes for your lovely visits and sweet comments,
they make my world brighter  and lovely !!

Welcome also to new followers, you are so very welcome.

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Dear Friend
I am managing a little time to visit some favourite blogs this evening :)
I am in agreement, let us say we will only exchange a card, that removes any stress from your life and that is what counts for the most.
This is brimming with sweetness, that nostalgic image and all your beautiful attention to details. Anyone would wish they were receiving this wintry creation.
Dorthe, I hope you are having a lovely evening - I will chat with you soon my friend.
Wishes
Lynne

Dorthe Dear I completely agree with the high cost of postage...especially out of country...being very prohibitive. I like your idea of creating a very special collaged card to send to our wonderful friends. Your card is beautiful and your labor of love is the gift! Creative Christmas Bliss...

Hello dearest Dorthe, Your Christmas card is very lovely and your journal turned out so beautiful too. Hopefully you enjoy your retirement and can do lots of things you didn't have time for when you still had your shop.
Thank you very much for your well-wishes for hubby. Yesterday he walked some steps on crutches instead of using the wheelchair. That's a small progress but makes some things easier already.
Sweetie, I wish you a wonderful fall day and hope it's not too cold and you can enjoy spending some time on the beach, collecting all kinds of things for your creations.
Sending big hugs and love ♥,
Julia

Another beautiful creation, love the layers and ragged edges, just my cup of tea. I agree with you Dorthe, the cost of postage is making all of us think twice about posting something even in our own countries, never mind abroad. So expensive. Hope you are well and enjoyed your visitors.

Your card is oh so beautiful dear Dorthe! You add such lovely touches to all you create...the crumpled paper...sweet twinkle of glitter and those darling children too!
You are wise to get started on your Christmas cards and about the cost of mailing.
Middle of the week (((hugs))) to you dear one ~♥~

I realize Christmas is so close, can't believe it and I have done nothing but work on the house, but I do have room for more than one tree in this house so I may decorate like crazy for the fun of it. Love your glitter and imagery, so happy children. xox

What a very beautiful christmas card Dorthe, love the glitter, hvor smukt søde, dagen går på hæld og snart er det sengetid - heldigvis, der ligger en god bog og venter, håber du må sove godt, vi snakkes ved.

Oh, it's not too early, Dorthe. I could celebrate Christmas year round, I love it so much. I just adore this card.

One year I was asked to join in a gift swap and it would be during the week I was traveling....oh how I rushed and wished I had more time. I pulled it off but it's never too early to create just in case you need a card or gift.

Such an excellent idea to start creating your Christmas cards already. This year you will be able to totally enjoy the whole process without the pressure of creating for the shop and all your orders as well. So sensible to downsize in every possible way sweetie and this creation is absolutely gorgeous with the way you have used the papers with such a sweet Wintery image highlighted with glittery bits as well.
Gorgeous work as only you know how!
Love and hugs,
Suzy

Oh dear Dorthe

Like all your creations this Christmas card is divine.
Children are what Christmas time is all about and that's what your card conveys.
The snow and glitter are lovely - I wish just once we could have snow too at this special season.....

You've inspired me to start card making too - so tomorrow that's what I'll do.
Today has been all about getting the house back in order after a week at work!

Sending special love and hugs across the seas to you dearest Dorthe.
Happy creating

Good morning my dear Dorthe,
I agree with you! The postal rates are so high at the moment. As a pensioner you can not send multiple packets each year! Your Christmas cards are so beautiful and designed very beautifully and lovingly. Each of your blog friends is happy to get such a charming work from you.
As you can see, I have no problem commenting on your blog. It all works smoothly:-)
Have a wonderful Sunday, my friend. The weather here is cloudy but dry. After lunch I take a long walk to the nearby lake.
"Hear" you soon my dear.
Hugs and kisses
MARTINA

Your card is so beautiful dear Dorthe. The layering is wonderful, I love the crumbled paper effect and the glittery. And I think you're quite right to keep it to cards alone. Postage costs are so high for packages. Especially when sent abroad! Sending you big hugs and happy sunshine. Wendy

What a beautiful Christmas card, my dear Dorthe. Your cards are little works of art and they will bring joy and happiness to all the lucky friends who are going to receive them. They are gorgeous presents all by themselves. Enjoy the runup to the Christmas Season and don't stress. xxx
