A GIFT OF WINGS AND BEAUTY !!

Hello dear friends.
This is my latest Christmas card, which I created yesterday.
It is not real finished here, as I forgot to take a picture
of it after having distressed the edge around Baby Jesus ,
with Archival  Ink -Hydrangea, but that is for your
imagination to see :-)
The background is very thin paper, sprayed with infusions
stamped with the snowflake stamps, and using
a snowflake stencil.

But back to the gift of wings !!
I was dearly gifted a handful of wings from a lovely
friend last week, and she also added other lovely
pieces made in moulds.

I so love these wings ,and would love to be able buying
the mould.
And on top of all that I also found this ,dearest
stocking ,handmade and so beautiful with pearls and laces.
Thank you from my heart , my friend,
you really made my day special and filled with joy !!

I as some of you know, started decorating, and here are
a few of my little Snow-angels from last year.

Each in woolen coats, and skirts made from
old handkerchiefs ,with laces.
Each bringing love !!

Thank you for visiting me, you are all so very
important and a beautiful part of my life .

Hugs and love
Dorthe

Oh the image you used on the latest card is wonderful, caught my eye on FB and just so glad to spend my AM coffee time admiring your wonderful creations.
That card has so many beautiful textures, sparkle and beauty I'm just in awe. The little girl reminds me of my grand daughter with those eyes.
Your adorable stocking, reminds me of items mother use to make. I've several of her homemade treasures. She loved creating from fabric, all hand stitched.
Then your precious Snow angels, just beautifully clothed. All so special. Dorthe have a wonderful week. I'm off to clear up messes at my crafty space.

Your snow angels are so pretty, I would love to have about 30 of them to cover a small tree, just dreaming out loud.
I have been in the creating mood lately and this darn job is distracting me

Merry Christmas

What a lovely card - the soft look of the Infusions and the snowflakes makes a great background for your charming vintage image (and yes, I'm imagining the inking around the edges!). The moulded wings are indeed very special, and that's a super stocking from your friend. It's lovely to see your snow angels spreading their grace and beauty around your house.

Hello - thank you for all your lovely comments on the Christmas tags. I'm happy you are enjoying seeing them - I've certainly been enjoying seeing them.

I thought I would pop over and clear up the confusion (having just re-read the post, I can see why it was confusing). Today's snowflake is from a snowflake die - this one (though I got it for less money!). I only meant that sometimes when Linda has used poinsettias on her inspiration tags, I've changed that to snowflakes in my versions. I just like snowflakes better than poinsettias!
Hugs,
Alison x

What a beautiful card Dorthe! It is just full of wonder. And your sweet angel girl too is so dear. I have my angel from you on my bedroom tree, she is hanging right in the middle front because I love to see her : )
The little cotton stocking is so sweet too! What adorable ornaments!
Wishing you a beautiful holiday week,
hugs,
Terri
