A NEW HANGER IN MY NEUTRAL TONES !

Dear Wen, I hope this is not too colorful, to take part in your

beautiful party of  # 22 Simply neutrals.

as I thought it just needed a little green ,too :-)

I used old burlap ,as I love, having that special tone, muslin and a piece of old
sheet.
Walking my daily tour along the beach I found the beautiful driftwood
piece assembling a wing so lovely, the feather and the two rusty capsules,
and decided to create a collage using them all.

You know how I love to use birds and nature,in my creations, so I did not
think long, before I started this .

A little papers ,fabrics, embroidery, and finds,
many would walk by !!

Love this description of Bird !!

We was visited by a lot of swans some weeks ago,
and I love watching this beautiful bird !!

Evening sky, when crossing the bridge between Sweden
and Denmark... if you see close you can see all the windmills
placed ,to create current.

Thank you for this week of wonderful Neutrals, over at Wendy`s !
I know you will find so many amazing blogging friend `s ,works,
to enjoy and admire, over there !!

Thank you for visiting and commenting, it always makes me very happy !!

Hugs and love Dorthe

Oh Dorthe! I love your nature hanger. you have so many lovely details and bits from the outdoors as well. So pretty.
I have two swans on the lake below and am waiting for a little one. Sadly, they never seem to survive because of other creatures.

That's another beautiful nature collage, dear Dorthe. It doesn't need a lot of fancy supplies to create something pretty. So many things can be found for free. You always walk with your eyes open for nature's beauty and bring back home lovely treasures to use in your artwork.
Have a great spring day, my friend! :)

Very special to find a perfect home for those little treasures.
The touches of spring green are just perfect too when the earth looks all new and full of life again....ah Spring!
You know I Love your beautiful swans and I do see the windmills working hard off in the distance.
While driving in the French countryside we saw those amongst the brilliant yellow fields of canola/rapeseed...so beautiful with the brilliant blue skies.
Lovely to visit with you as always dear Dorthe ♥

Dear Dorthe
I know this is made by your hands without seeing your name!
Using the exquisite pieces from nature that we often miss and you create such beauty.
A little bird so delicately stitched, I am a bird lover too, and I watch them at my feeders, they are fascinating.
I bought a new little bird house yesterday and I now must find the right place to put it and hope a little bird will make it her nest.
Your collage is always so inspiring for me.
Has your house sold yet and are you moving to Copenhagen?
Love
Shane

Dear Dorthe,

I love the sweet hanger with the bird and all in beautiful neutral colours. Lovely that you can pick up bits and pieces from the beach, like driftwood.
Also how wonderful the swan is on the water.
Happy May

Hi sweetie, of course a little colour added is no problem :) Your collage is stunning, so gorgeous! Beautiful stitching, and I totally love how you did the flowers! And that sweet little bird and piece of beautiful driftwood you found, such gorgeous details added. Beautiful photo of the swan too, dear. We have a lot of swans here. Too many, to be honest. It is kind of a plague. And they can be very grumpy too! In the Spring there is always a pair with a nest on the way to Sam's school, where the road is very narrow. So Sam's always kind of afraid to pass them because they bite the passers by. But there is no other way to school, so he has to pass them. Poor kid. Anyway, I hope May will be a beautiful and sunny month for you sweetie! Hugs xx

Dorthe, I believe that piece of driftwood was waiting for you to discover it during one of your walks. This piece was the perfect addition to your hanger, telling the story of this bird. Also the rusted capsules to create flower heads, wonderful creativity and I love the green stitching, it speaks of Springtime, of new life. The burlap is the perfect neutral as a base for this fabric collage hanger.
So beautiful as is the swan who decided to visit you.
