Something blue in between the journal pages !!

I created this card, from scraps of laces , a wonderful new
serviette ,I found last week,  a transferred drawn lady,
and added some pearls, and the blue rose, which I created from
seambinding !!

I just fell in love with the paper napkins, all in blue,
and also showing an old teapot, and cup, which I
will use another time !!

My sewing needs improvement I know, but I hope to
learn by doing !!

Here is the tiny rose, one cm, at each side.

Isen`t it wonderful , to be happy ,finding some serviettes,
to be used in my mixed media ,lol.

This weekend it is Valentines weekend, and I wish you all, out there,
a wonderful and maybe romantic weekend.

Hugs and love
Dorthe

HI Dorthe. I love these beautiful blues, and the little flowers are the perfect accent. I found some vintage-like serviettes in a beach theme while working on the cleaning of the attic project just yesterday and moved them to my studio for future use in an art project. You have even further inspired me! Have a happy Valentine's Day yourself! Hugs and love, Sue

It turned out beautiful, dear Dorthe. The blue and white looks so pretty together. Paper napkins for you, some rusty junk for me. Aren't we just easy to please, lol?
Happy Valentine's Day ♥, my friend!

I'm a big fan of blue and white china - so I'm looking forward to seeing the teapot and cup in the future... but for now, I love the delicate combination here of napkin, laces, image and that adorable little seam binding rose - what a wonderful card, Dorthe!

Dorthe
The blue and white reminds me of vintage china teacup, so pretty and a colour a little bit different to your regular. Gorgeous little details, the image transfer, the postal stamp and the sweetest seam binding rose with the colour matching perfectly.
Stunning creation.

Det er bare så smukt - den kølige blå farve er som at se ud over vores smukke Østersø netop nu!
Er vild med alle dine små detaljer - ikke mindst den blå blonde der løber ned langs den ene side - smukt smukt smukt!!! Knus Bettina

Such a delicate and pretty card Dorthe! Yes like Lynne it too reminds me of a blue and white china teacup. I love the black and white image transfer, the pretty napkin, stamp and such sweet laces all in the mix to create such a beautiful piece.

I like the addition of the hand-stitching. Just right.

Lækkert og samtidig rigtig romantisk. Den lille rose er fantastisk - utroligt at du kan lave dem så små.

Absolutely beautiful dear Dorthe, love the grey blue lace, it works so perfectly with the royal blue..just brings it all together. Another exquisite piece...I've also enjoyed your last two posts about Emily, so loved her house. Sorry I've been a bad visitor of late, crafty life has been pretty hectic but I'm trying to catch up now. Thanks for all your lovely comments. Hugs Ruth xx

I don't know how I missed so much on your blog my sweet friend ♥
So lovely to see these pieces close up.
The blues and whites are so very delicate and perfect with your artists touches! Even a rose "grown" from your talented hands.
