TODAY IT IS THE SEVENTH OF WEN`s WONDERFUL NEUTRALS PARTY !!

Yes it is tuesday again, and I`m happy to be back, after a wonderful visit
from my daughter and grandkids, whom "stole" my time from
blogging last week, and also my internet has been down for 3 full days !

For newcomers ,here you have dear Wendy`s link to her beautiful blog !

My own neutrals this week is first, a part of my cover from the wonderful class
of  SUZY`s , I`m doing right now, and which you can find here :

This is only a part of the cover, using an old cabinet card, and
an old buckle. The rose I made from muslin, and used lots of
different laces, some older than others !

Here a better closeup.

And the other neutral creation today, is a christmas card,
in many layers ,using both paper and laces.

So fun to create the "frosted" leaves ,and using the real little
alder cones.

Thank you again, dear friend Wen, for making it possible to
be a part of your lovely party.
**********************************

I hope you will visit Wen, and all the other participating!

Hugs and Love, Dorthe

OMG, Dorthe, The little bit we can see of your cover is absolutely gorgeous and promises so much! The cabinet card is so lovely and that buckle, wow, so so pretty. I think this will be a really exquisite book. Darling Suzy's class is brilliant and such a joy to follow.

I got so carried away with the book cover, I forgot to comment on the card. It is a typical Dorthe card, incorporating naturals, and I absolutely love it! The 'frost' on the leaves and little pine cones is so sweet. It will make one lucky recipient very happy indeed.

Dearest Dorthe
If the cover is any indication of how beautiful you book will be then I can only imagine how gorgeous your whole lace book will be.
The image has a beauty of simplicity against the sweet rhinestone embellishment. All of the laces look so beautiful behind your hand fashioned muslin rose.
I'm excited sweetie!
That is such a sweet Christmas Card you have created also with this vintage child dressed in white with layers of ephemera and your embellishment with frosted leaves and cones.
Simply gorgeous!
Love and hugs in vintage lace and whiteness!

Hello Dorthe. Your pieces are so beautiful. I can't wait to see your finished book from taking Suzy's class. I also purchased her class, but likely won't get to work on it much until the winter. Your work is such an inspiration! I hope that you're having a great week. Hugs, Sue

Sweetie, your book and card are so gorgeous!! I love love how you used the leaves on the card, adding beautiful glitter to them! And can't wait to see the whole book finished :) I just started with making mine from Suzy's class, but I only got as far as preparing the papers and images, lol. Sam has almost two weeks vacation from school now, so there is not much time for me to do some creating. Sending you hugs and wishing you a happy weekend, xx

Hello Dorthe, Your cover from Suzy's class is exquisite. I can't wait to see it all. I love how everyone's artwork still expresses their own personality and sense of design, even though Suzy's techniques and ideas are the starting point. Your Christmas card is to die for.
