SIMPLY NEUTRALS NO. 8

Hello dear friends, it is that time of the week again !!

Today I want to show you, this piece from Sandra Evertsons series
of Relics and Artefacts , which I altered from plain whits resin,
to this silvery beauty.

I used silver leaf on top of the sacred heart, distressed it
a bit, and added rhinestones, and some plastic ones, too
The text I found on a tea-paper bag , and love it ,here.

This resin heart I recieved from my very dear friend Lynne https://lynnesbowsandbelles.wordpress.com/
together with others of Sandras beautiful pieces, and with
this most beautiful card ,too.

It is so very lovely and adorable , and I`m so grateful for my gifts
my very lovely ,dear friend !!

I also want to show you just this one flower, from my
autumn garden ,the most stunning ever,
called Cafè au Lait !!

And last another new christmas card, in black and white,
and silver.  I used a paper napkin on fabric transfer, with the
beautiful tree , the wonderful stamp from Artistic Outpost,
and bark stars and tree , the little tulle adds a bit of softness, I think.

I hope my post was not too long this time, and wishes you all
a wonderful week , hoping you will find many
simple neutrals on your way !!

Hugs and love from Dorthe,
AND WELCOME  to my new followers,
you are so very welcome !!

Oh Dorthe!
The heart you created is absolutely stunning and those words speak so beautifully about exactly what you do my friend ♥
Lynne is so talented and generous too.
That dahlia is perfection and your neutral card is just perfect too.
The bits of netting add mystery and sweet texture.
Thank you for inspiring me.
Again I have to say the heart you altered looks like a beautiful relic from long ago...something that belonged to a queen perhaps!

Your heart and card are utterly captivating Dorthe - truly beautiful. As for that Cafè au Lait flower - well isn't nature completely perfect!

I'm not sure if you enter challenges often Dorthe but your card would be perfect for the Artistic Outpost challenge http://artisticoutpost.blogspot.ie/2015/10/show-us-your-ao-art-october-challenge.html

Dear Dorthe, your resin heart and Christmas card are so gorgeous. The card a peaceful and beautiful winter scene, how wonderful it would be if it were real, to walk there. Finding peace in the silence and the sound of footsteps on the crisp snow. Beautiful the heart in silver and with an inspiring quote. I bought some resin too but haven't dared trying it yet :) It sits together with my not-used-either soldering stuff, waiting to be used. I must say it's a bit daunting to me, trying these new to me techniques. But seeing your gorgeous resin heart, inspires me to do so nevertheless! So thank you sweetie for your inspiration :) And oh my, is that a real flower?? It's gorgeous! Wishing you a beautiful day and sending you hugs, xx

Here I am again, my dear friend, just hopping over from Facebook... It is not enough, you know, to see your beautiful pictures there. A real visit is something different! I sit down, have a cup of tea and let my eyes wander more slowly... It is nice and cozy here and I love what I see... You know that neutral colours are just my thing (although I admire others for their capability to play with different shades). I find your card and the altered flaming heart so beautiful. And then the little glimpse of autumn in the middle of the christmassy arrangement: the beautiful Dahlia... I have nothing so precious in my garden... It seems that my weeds eat up everything more beautiful then they are, hihi... Anyway, I can always come here to admire beauty!! Hugs and kisses from Manu

Gorgeous card Dorthe - I love the little house/cabin, and all the special touches you've added... it's just lovely.
I love the flower from your garden - "Cafe Au Lait" is the perfect name for it - so perfect, in all it's pale beauty...
It's so wonderful to have time to come and see what you have been creating - you never disappoint me, except this post was too short, not at all too long!
Hugs to you,

Jillayne

What a wonderful post - from your sparkling jewelled heart to the subtle Christmas card, full of natural colours and gentle beauty, it's magical. I saw Lynne's lovely card over at hers, so perfectly vintage, and the flower is beyond stunning. I've enjoyed this so much.
