A NEW PAGE IN MY BOOK !!

I`m sure some of you remember the beautiful book ,my dear friend
YVONNE  gifted me for my birthday !!

Here is a new page I created, to try using the
newly bought Bistre or Bister.

Here is a tutorial but only in Dutch language.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-JZ6OwRuu8

I used it on the tag and love the effect .
The birds are from a piece of Tissue Paper , they are so sweet.

The leaves are dried ones from my garden,-

I used gesso and paints

and added a piece of real bark, too.

Here is the tag close-up with a very dissolved
piece of leaf ,too.

Have you tried Bister ?

**************

I hope your weekend has been wonderful,
and wishes you a very happy  new week.

Love and hugs, Dorthe

Hello my dear Dorthe,
Just surfacing again from under the fabric piles! I absolutely love what you have created with this bistre background. I have never heard of it but would love to learn more about how to use it.

Your page is simply amazing with those beautiful birds and I love the mottled effect with the inks or paints on the tag. Sweet paper birds and garden leaves - it's all so natural and gorgeous.
Sending much love and hugs,
Suzy

Thank you for your sweet welcome home and for saying such lovely things always...
Home is sweet and special too but we may have needed another week at the beach ;-)
Not sure they carry bister here in the US...seeing what you've done with it is really tempting me.
You have combined so many special touches for your gorgeous page!

Hello dear Dorthe, such a beautiful collage dear. I love the nature theme, the beautiful birds. And the techniques you used, beautiful paints and colours. Very earthy, what I really love.
Hope you're doing well? I haven't been around in blog world for a long while, so I'm missing all the news from my dear blog friends.
Wishing you a happy day and sending you big hugs,
