Beth`s & Karla`s workshop,-and a sweet tutorial from Diane

Many of you surely knows, that Karla and Beth are hawing a new wonderfull workshop,

As I`m too bussy, now, for realy  participating I only had the chance to do one thing, till now.
A darling mitten- --- which is only one of the many beautifull  pieces one can be taught and inspired to do.

If you did not check this out, click here, or press the button in my sidebar, for further information, you will not be dissapointet -those two ladyes are full of gorgeus ideas.

I used the pattern in half, -the dove and holliday schript -banner from the workshop.
and then a Paper Whimsy image.

This piece holds, all that is importent for me in christmas-time.:
The cross- the dove-for piece-the children to grow to strong ,caring adults-
and -love- between all humans

This morning I saw that my dear friend-Diane  gave a sweet and beautifull tutorial, to all of us.

A heart to hang wherever you have a place  ,to show a little beauty.
I could not  let this sunday go, without making my own attempt ,on her dear gift.

I used an image from Vintage Stampers Freebies   printet on cloth
and added a little pearls, and sequins, glitter, buttons, and
a mini madonna charm.

then gathered a piece of tulle, insertet between the front and bag.
Diane uses paper in the back,I chose a piece of old cotton.

This was a wonderfull day with a bit playing around, with those two lovely tutorials,
I also made some dolls faces, and had a walk in the rain....
A pretty lovely sunday.
I hope you all had equal wonderfull dayes, dear friends.

Happy new week to you all-Love and hugs, Dorthe

Hello Dorthe,
You are such a sweet soul and I can tell by the ways you express yourself.

Your artwork is so lovely, just like you. The little mitten with it's precious symbols is so pretty.

A walk in the rain sounds lovely.

Have a beautiful week my sweet friend.

It sounds like you had a wonderful Sunday, sweet friend! Your creations are both beautiful! What a shame that you don't have enough time right now to work on other workshop projects as well.
We were pretty lazy yesterday, watching a couple of Danish and Swedish thrillers that we had taped the night before. At least I did some hand quilting while watching them.
Have a great and creative day, sweet Dorthe :-)!
Big Hugs and kys, kys, kys,
Julia

You are such a creative woman, Dorthe, you amaze me every day. However busy you are, you always find the time to make some extra special projects, and you always make them so much your very own, so meaningful. Have a good week, full of little pleasures and not too much stressy work. xx

Hi Sweetie
What a wonderful Sunday you had... I need to do more of those days. I have been doing a project in the attic and I am happy doing projects! But not real relaxing...I have a hard time relaxing but computer time to me is relaxing.
Love your new creations, you have such a wonderful eye for detail.
Many Blessings

Dorthe, I so love visiting your blog. The items you make are so pretty and when viewed, I feel so calm and serene (sounds kind of weird), but they have that effect on me. Once again you have crafted such beautiful items.

Thank you so much for your thoughts re Nicole. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate it!

Dorthe,
Hello sweet girl. It has been so busy around here, I don't always have time to leave a comment but I check on you all the time to see what beautiful things you are creating. I love what you did with the White Christmas mittens. To be honest I haven't had time to check it out yet. But after seeing what you made I'm heading right over! Love that Diane too! I can't believe that Vicki's nest was in one piece after the mess the box was in. Love the colors she used on yours. Stay busy! Lisa

Dorthe, hi from your "lost" friend! I haven't blogged all week! Like you, so busy, too busy for Karla and Beth's Christmas class and I so wanted to participate again because their Romantic Gothic Ghosts class was so much fun!

I'm glad you liked my little heart tutorial. Yours turned out beautiful.

Today is Saturday and I am at such loose ends today. We just went out and had a junk food lunch. Now...how to spend the rest of the day??

Hugs! Diane
