A new idea, ---and photoes from my house and shop

This is a  ATC like small thing, that just had to be done today, before closing up my shop....
The new in it  -for me anyway- is the bupple plastic, that I used between
the layers of fabric--it gives the piece a feeling of heaviness, and I like the look ,when adding a bit of paint over it.

Yesterday my dear friend Diane and her daughter Holly (click to see their wonderfull Etsy shop)
asked me to see where i`m living on this beautifull island,--So I took some photoes of my house, and shop, for you to see.
This is the yard, the windows on the right is my kitchen.

The  angel in front of the parkingplace, and the privat house in the right.

You can see how close the water is...

This is in front of my shop

Here a funny street sign, that my husbond had in birthday gift from our friend Matthias Masswig, a german friend  and artist visiting us every summer.
The sign over my shop

An old mail box, with a plant inside

The privat house and garden again

Here around the corner to show you the view to the sea again

I got the photoes mixed up, and blogger will not let me take them back,---so this is how it will stay for this time.
************************
I hope you enjoyed the trip, and wishes all a happy evening-
also I welcome the newest followers, ---I`m now at my 200-----
I`m so happy to meet everyone of you, thanks to you all to visit me here, it means a lot to me.

I will soon celebrate the 200 followers with a little sweet giveaway!!!!!

Lots og hugs, and love

Dorthe,
What a wonderful home, garden and view of the sea you have. It all looks so welcoming and homey. Love the angels and the plant in the vintage mailbox. Do you ever have problems living that close to the sea? Or is your elevated enough so there is no problems?

Dorthe! Wow! I am so jealous..hehe!! My heart melts looking at your beautiful pictures, of the home by the sea! I am happy for you! Soak some in for me!

Oh Dorthe, you live in such a charming home, it is adorable. You are so lucky to have your shop under the same roof. It must be quite scary though in the winter to live that close to the sea. But I am sure when you are snuggled up inside ( with a roaring open fire? ) and all nice and cosy, then the stormy sea must be quite wonderful to listen to.

What a charming place! And filled with your special touches (like the plant in the mailbox) no doubt. Living so close to the sea....the rhythm of the waves....is it conducive to creativity, I wonder? I enjoyed the tour, thank you.

Dorthe, thank you for posting these for Holly and I to see after she visited Bornholm online and wondered about what your house might look like.

It's wonderful! SO Danish! The stone courtyard and your tile roof and your leaded windows...oh my! Quaint!

How close are you to the edge of the sea? Are you up high from the beach or is your house often sprayed by the waves? I can only imagine the fierceness of the storms you must experience in the winter, but your walls look good and solid! The sound of storms must be amazing!

I loved the peek at where you live! So sorry I didn't get here sooner. Yesterday took up some time with some etsy problems with a vendor and work!

Now...if I could only knock on your door and visit!

Blessings, dear friend! :-)
